~~~~~~~Chapter 2~~~~~~~

Waking up the next morning, you're not sure what to expect. That vague message from yesterday is still playing in your head and you just do your best to get up and act casual.

You find Inna sitting on the top step of your front porch and you shake your head laughing.
"Well good morning miss early bird."
She turns back and smirks. "Yeah, good morning to you lazy butt."
You just laugh at her response and start down the steps. You notice she jumps up and catches your arm. You look back confused and she gives you a serious look.
"I've been thinking about what that guy said. Just promise me you'll be careful." She said.
You at her with a soft smile. "Of course I will. And you do the same, ok?"
She nods and you both walk down the steps to the sidewalk and head for the school.

Once you and Inna have gotten settled in your first class, you start looking around the busy room and you notice that guy, Taehyung, from yesterday. You both seem to look at each other at the same time. You see worry on his face and start to wonder why, but suddenly you hear the room fall deathly quiet. You turn to the door to see what could've happened and your eyes widen.

Standing at the front of the class was a tall, handsome looking sculpture of a person. Someone you definitely know you've never seen before. He doesn't make eye contact with anyone as he makes his way to an empty seat on the far side of the classroom next to Taehyung. They seem to know each other but you shrug it off as the class begins.

The day seemed short and next thing you knew it was you and Inna walking home. As you approach your houses, you notice a house is being moved in to. You stop short as you realize that one of them is the new guy and then you also see Taehyung. Your curiosity has made you stare for an extra second and someone calls over.
"Hey, are you our new neighbors?"
You sort of jump at the sudden sound but nod your head. As you search for the source, a guy with a bright smile makes his way across the road. Right as he gets to you, he holds out his hand for you to shake. Once you shake his hand, with a little reluctance, he holds his hand out for Inna and she shakes it gingerly. He then, gestures excitedly for us to follow him.
Over being cautious, you say to Inna, "It's fine, we're just going to meet them like normal people do."
Almost laughing at that last part, she nods and heads towards the house.

As we walk up, all eyes are on us and it's almost intimidating. You look up and lock eyes with the guy from this morning for a split second and think ~yeah no...definitely intimidating~ You glance over and see that Inna feels out of place as well. Aside from your gut screaming danger, you gather up your courage and introduce yourself to the group.
"Hi, my name is Y/N and I live right across the street. It's nice to meet you.", you say with a smile.
"My name is Inna, I live right next to Y/N. Nice to meet you.", says Inna a little softly.

Taehyung was looking at the floor only glancing up every so often. Mr. mysterious new guy had his stone cold gaze shifting between you and Inna but it seemed like he was taking longer to look at you. One guy, who was really pretty...not gonna lie, was standing right behind Mr. mysterious, just staring at you and watching your every move.

~What did you do? Is he their guard dog or something?~

The guy that brought you over here spoke up with that cheery smile of his.
"Ok, so let me introduce us to you guys. My name is Hoseok.", he says with a cute smile. Then, he points to Mr. mysterious and says, "This is Jungkook, he is the hard head of the group."
You smirk at that and Jungkook looks slightly pissed.
Next, he points at the one staring and says, "This is Jimin, he acts like our protector a lot of the time."
At this, Jimin nods while still having his eyes trained on you.
Last, he points at Taehyung and says, "I guess you've already met this one. This is Taehyung and he's the newest in the group."

"You see, we are like brothers to each other but we all came from different places.", he continues.
"I hope we aren't a bother to you guys as we stay here."
"Oh, I doubt you will but don't worry about it. We aren't hard to deal with, right Inna?", you say as you nudge her on the side.
"Right!", she says as she darts a glare at you.
A few awkward seconds go by where no one speaks and so you make yourself say something.
"Alright well, it was nice to meet you guys but now I need to go home and umm cook dinner.", you say as you start to back away a bit.
"Yeah, I need to go check in with my family.", Inna chimes in.

No one says anything as you both turn around and walk to your doors. The short distance between there and your door felt like forever as you felt their stares on your back. You look back and wave politely at the group and share one last glance with Inna before you head inside for the night. You have no plans to leave the safety of your house and you imagine that Inna feels the same. After eating a quick dinner, you check your phone for a bit and then head to bed, hoping that tomorrow will be chill.
