It was August 15th, 2038. The time was 8:29 PM. Jeon Jungkook stood inside an elevator playing with a quarter, swiftly shuffling it through his fingers, making it dance atop his knuckles. The LED Ring on the right side of his forehead flickered its normal deep blue color. As soon as the elevator stopped on the 70th floor, he flicked the quarter into his right hand, landing between his middle and index fingers. He fastened his tie and paused for a moment, then walked out of the elevator.
As he stepped out, Jungkook heard a man that seemed to be part of an KNP SOU team say, "Negotiator on sight. Repeat, negotiator on sight." The man swiftly hustled out of the hallway.
Jungkook walked down the very short hallway and heard a faint woman speak. "No, stop... I... I... I can't leave her." He continued walking, only to be greeted by the same woman and another member of Seoul's KNP SOU. The woman appeared to be balling her eyes out. "Oh, oh please, please, you gotta save my little girl... Wait..." she paused and looked at the words on Jungkook's suit jacket that read RK800. "You're sending and android?" "Alright, ma'am. We need to go." the KNP SOU member interrupted, but the woman persisted. "You can't... you can't do that! Why aren't you sending a real person? Don't let that thing near my daughter!" the woman demanded as she was dragged out of the hallway and into the elevator.
As Jungkook walked down the hallway once more, he saw that a fish somehow fell out of the large fish tank that acted as somewhat of a wall. Quickly, Jungkook picked up the flopping fish and put it back in the fish tank.
He then saw a picture of three people that was placed on a table opposite of the fish tank. Jungkook picked it up and analyzed it.

Jungkook put the picture down and walked into the what used to be nicely furnished and decorated apartment. As soon as he did, the task "FIND CAPTAIN BOYOUNG" appeared in front of him, time stopping for a split second.
Jungkook quickly spotted the Captain and introduced himself.
"Captain Boyoung. My name is Jungkook. I'm the android sent by CyberLife."
The Captain looked Jungkook in the eyes as he spoke, but turned back around as if nothing happened.
"It's firing at everything that moves. It already shot down two of my men. We could easily get it, but they're on the edge of the balcony. If it falls, she falls." Jungkook didn't try to get anymore words out of the Captain. He instead walked into the living room of the apartment. 'It appears a human girl was taken hostage by an android.' Jungkook thought to himself.
In the living room, Jungkook spotted an empty gun case on the floor with the ammo taken out. The bullet box sat on the floor nearby. And then a scene was digitally recreated with a white outlined silhouette. The words 'DEVIANT TOOK THE FATHER'S GUN' appeared in front of Jungkook. 'If I survey the environment, I should be able to gain a better understanding of what happened, and increase the percent of the missions Probability of Success.'
Jungkook then walked into what appeared to be a little girls room. Most likely Jinyoung's. He picked up an iPad and swiped its screen to reveal a video of a little girl and an android.
"This is Daniel, the coolest android in the world! Say hi, Daniel! 'Hello!' You're my bestie! We'll always be together!"
The words "DEVIANT NAME: DANIEL" appeared in front of Jungkook. He placed the iPad back where he found it. The words 'INFORMATION FOUND. PROBABILITY OF SUCCESS - 57% PERCENT' appeared. After he shared a few short words with Captain Boyoung, the percentage was only 49%.
