There was a girl named Ashley, she was in 7th grade and always got bullied all day, every day, at school. She'd always go home and tell her mom and her mom told her to stay strong and to care about the bullies. Ashley listened to her mom every day, but still, she would cry and run out to the woods behind the school. She'd stay there for at least three and sometimes four hours to get away from the bullies. Abby would always find Ashley and would ask why she was crying. Ashley would say,
"It was them again the bullies." And Abby would respond,
"Ashley I'm so sorry. But I'm always here for you." Abby would hug her and say,
"Let's go back to class now." Ashley would say,
"Thanks for coming to find me you're a good friend." As they went back to class Ashley saw the bullies look at her and glare at her she'd always tell Abby to hurry up to class because of the bullies. The next day...
"Hey! Ash whatcha up to?" Abby yelled.
"Oh, nothing much."
"Oh okay, I'll see you in class then okay?"
"Okay." 1-hour later... As Ashley walk to the bathroom, the bullies came out of nowhere and cornered her. She tried to scream for help but they put duct tape over her mouth. They took her behind the school and started to beat her till' she bled. They left her outside afterward. Abby started to worry so she went to look for Ashley after about a minute or two Abby ran into the bullies and Abby asked in an angry voice,
"Wait what did you do to Ashley this time?" The kids just rolled their eyes and started to walk away. But Abby grabbed one of the kids' shirts and said,
"WHAT DID YOU DO?!" The kid demanded,
"Hey back off!" And they punched her and walked off but little did they know Abby got up and pulled one of the kids' sleeves again and when the kid turned around Abby punched the kid hard in the stomach. The impact of the punch made the kid throw up. And Abby said,
"Hurt her again and I'll call the cops!" The kids ran off and Abby continued her search for her friend. After about fifteen minutes Abby found Ashley behind the school, tied up, beat and next to a dumpster. Abby took no time and untied her and took the duct tape off her mouth and asked her,
"Are you okay?! What did they do to you?!" Ashley didn't reply.
"Yeah, I'm okay..."
"They punched and kicked me..."
"Till' I bled..." Abby said,
"Oh, Ashley I'm soo soo sorry!" She started to cry.
"I wasn't there to help you..." Tears rolled down her cheeks. Ashely wiped away Abby's tears and said,
"Abby it's not your fault, they're just troubled kids Abb."
"Yeah I know Ashley I'm just sorry that they did this to you..." They embrace each other, and Ashley whispers in her ear,
"I'm so lucky to have a friend like you on my side." Abby smiles.
"You're a good friend too." The two girls go back to class. After school, Ashely tells Abby,
"I'll see you at practice, okay?"
"Okay, Ash. See ya' later!" As Ashely walked home to get her gear on for soccer the bullies surrounded Ashley and tied her hands and feet and put duct tape over her mouth. They put her in the truck and drove back to school to their 'hide out' and started to punch and kick her and this time, they didn't stop when she lost a lot of blood. Ashely struggled to get the duct tape off. She screamed and passed out. That's when they stopped and as she was knocked out they dumped her by the dumpster and left. Abby tried to call her because she wasn't at practice and Ashely wasn't answering her phone. So, Abby went out to find her. It was 2:30 in the morning. About thirty minutes to an hour, Abby realized where her friend could be. She ran to the school. Ans she went off to the dumpster behind the school and THERE ASHLEY WAS!!! Abby quickly called 911. The ambulance came after about twenty minutes and Abby went with Ashley and stayed with her the whole night. When Abby woke up, the doctor told her if she hadn't called 911 as soon as she did Ashley would be dead right now. A sigh of relief escaped her lips and was glad she found Ashley just in time to save her.
"Ashley wants to see you," The doctor said. Abby got up and followed the doctor to Ashley's hospital room.
"Hey, Ash. How're you holdin' up?"
"Okay, I guess."
"That's good."
"Yeah, I guess. Hey Abb, when I get out of here, we have to tell the school board or the cops about the kids, okay?"
"Okay, Ash." Three days later...
"ABBY IM OUT!!!"
"YAY! Heh, do you want to tell the cops or the teacher?"
"The cops." They told the cops and they put the bullies under house arrest for three months. Ashley got better and better every day, but the trauma would take longer to heal. After two months, Ashely was well enough to go back to school and got better at her subjects. She went to practice more and went out with friends.
"Hey, Abb, wanna hang out?"
"Sure, Ash, let's go!"
Clearly, friends are important.
