A soft wave of breeze hit his face as he opened the door and entered the rooftop, the gold of light that once hid behind the door was left fully scattered from the sun.

A garden decorated the large railings that barricaded the rooftop, roses and lavender flowers connected through the lively green vines.

Quiet. It was...Quiet. Yoongi stood there, waiting for... Something. He was uncertain what he was really expecting, but he felt like something was waiting. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw you sitting on the old bench, she probably didn't notice me... He thought.

"Yoongi, right- thanks for waking me up?" She spoke, startling him a bit. He really didn't expect for her to notice him there, she wasn't facing him and  was probably listening to something since you had earbuds in and you were on your phone, so it wasn't likely you heard him. He noticed the device you were using and the earbuds were more on the costly side of the spectrum so he assumed you had some sort of money. Yoongi paid attention to small things so he had no problem with memory but sometimes he assumed some ideas from the small things he noticed, not all true or correct.

"Oh, you know that I'm here?" He asked, a bit surprised, both his eyebrows arched as he faced you.

"I don't know you tell me, the door is pretty loud." You responded plainly, patting the seat next to you on the bench, he hesitated for a second before coming down to sit with you.

"Here, it's the thanks for waking me up." You offered, handing him a bento box identical to yours. He took it into his hands and rejected pushing it towards you, "No, just a thanks is good enough and you've thanked me enough for something so small but thank you."

You looked at him and pushed it back saying, "Come on just eat, it's not like I put rat poison in it."

Yoongi hesitated to take it but said okay, he set it in front of him, and opened it.

"You made it right?". The food looked heavenly, and the smell was alluring.

"Yeah, oh, sorry one moment." You dig back into your backpack again, grabbing something you pulled it out. "Here."

Yoongi easily caught the silver chopsticks and examined them before staring at the chop sticks, "What are they dirty, because I can switch them out if they are?"

"No, just that these cost roughly at least, what maybe $20-$42 dollars for a pair."

" Well, yeah, but I don't use wooden ones- if you want wooden ones, go buy them then." She replied calmly.

" No, I mean... why not use wooden ones, they're cheap?" He said while pointing to the two silver pairs of exquisitely designed chopsticks.

"They don't break easily, better for the environment, and last very long." You riposted while raising up a finger for each reason. "Great overall, now eat- before I eat it for you." She said lastly before continuing to eat from her bento.

Yoongi sat there silently, looking at you before taking the chopsticks out of their packaging- equally nice and expensive looking as the chopsticks.

Since you had already started eating Yoongi quickly mirrored- or so tried- but he stayed quite and continued to hold the exquisitely designed chopsticks. A silence ever so calm and comfortable- at least to you.
He suddenly placed the chopsticks back on the table; which you took no reaction in. You then glanced back to Yoongi while eating, eyebrows raised signaling him to talk.

In the action of parting his lips they were stitched back together; he might have gotten shy but whatever it was, he looked away. Clearing his throat while tapping his fingered on the, what seemed to be a rather new, table; his eyes danced around before looking back at you.

"So, uh, you play any sports?" He asked quickly with hesitance lingering.

"Of course I do." You replied a bit more enthusiastic than intended. You quickly looked back at Yoongi to start conversing once again.

"But... I don't just play- I win. I'll dominate any sport you throw at me, doesn't matter which one; I'll win." You said this time looking even more confident and imitating than beforehand.

"Oh, really now?" He said in amusement of your now over confidently looking aura- at least to him quite cocky.

"So you wouldn't mind telling me which sports are your favorite then, do you?"

While waiting  for your answer he reached to the side of his bag, getting a reusable bottle and started drinking. You semi-bit your lip; indicating that you were thinking. Eyes dancing around just like his were a couple awkward minutes ago.

Your previous confident and intimidating aura now fleeing the scene to be switched back with the enthusiastic and lively one.

"Well, I enjoy all sports but without a doubt my favorite has to be basketball- although I do enjoy things like boxing."

Yoongi looked blankly in reaction of your answer, he started coughing since he was in the middle of drinking while you answered but quickly tried to submerge the shocked looked... Too bad it was obvious and you had already taken note of it.
"What's so surprising about my answer?"
You're intimidating aura seemed as it had consumed you whole; something he had never seen before.
"Oh, uh, nothing; I just wouldn't think you would those sports since there's not many or any people I know around here that enjoy those and you know." He quickly responded with a nervous tone included.

"Why would you assume that I wasn't into those sports?" You retorted, narrowing your eyes making you look more intimidating than before if that was even possible.

"N-No I meant that- never mind, I mean, I just figured since you look a bit... I don't know you just appear more feminine?" It was clear he was nervous from his answer and body language.

"It's fine, I get that, . What about you?" You replied calmly back while grabbing the chopsticks once again to start eating. He looked up and made eye contact, he had some confusion in them.

"Huh? What do you mean 'What about You'?" The confusion you saw in his eyes seemed to have spread over his whole body now. You tried to submerge your laugh like his shocked reaction earlier; it didn't go unnoticed either. You ended up laughing at his confusion, making him slightly blush and flustered.

"Yah, don't laugh at me!"

It was clear that he tried to regain control, but was struggling to keep his normal unbothered appearance. His ears flushed a shade of crimson red in heavy embarrassment, mind unable to compose himself.

"Relax, I was just asking you what sports you played too."

His cheeks started spreading with a rosy red, "Oh yeah, I-I knew that uh."

You started laughing again, it was funny and cute how could you not laugh? With that he got visually embarrassed and looked away waiting for your "laughing spree" to end. You stopped after 30-60 seconds after knowing that you shouldn't be laughing at him anymore.

He coughed to clear his throat and replied, "I like basketball."

"That's neat, you and me could play together some time you know... But you know I'd win against you and well everyone."

You replied sincerely in the first half and jokingly in the second to keep that "cocky, over confident, smug aura around". He had taken notice of that and laughed with you doing the same after him too, and there you two were laughing under the afternoon sun on the school's forgotten rooftop terrace. You two moved back and the table made a noise you both found somewhat funny and laughed even more, you were sure it was because after laughing almost anything sounded funny in the moment.
