Stabbed in the back

All alone

- The night you left -

I get up from my seat and start going through the drawers and stuff to see if there's any food still good. I find a few cans of beans and that's it.

"I might have to go back a get some more food after this is all gone." I tell myself.

I take the time to look around. It's all on one floor. The bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, it's all on one floor. I try to find the bedroom first, since I don't want to sleep on the floor. I open a few doors, finding the bathroom and the laundry room. On the third door, I find the bedroom. Inside there's a bed, and chest by the foot of the bed,and a closet. I go to the closest and open it. A few rags and empty baskets are inside.

"Who puts this stuff in a closet?" I grab a rag... It's still wet. Somebody must be here. I turn to look behind me. I listen very closely. "Maybe someone used this place as a shelter for a bit. Which means, they must have either left, or they were eaten. Either way, they're gone." I start checking the rooms to see if I can find anyone living here. All I find is a bloody bag with some knives in it.

"I could use these... Just incase someone tries to come and hurt me." I take the bag and the knives and place them on the bed in the bedroom, obviously.

I walk back into the kitchen and continue to try a find food maybe hidden away in some sort of hidden cabinet.

...

There is not anything else in this damn house. I sigh and head put the back door and sit on the ground and watch Ace trot around the backyard. I start picking at the grass.

"What was my plan? I should've thought this through. But, no, I had to be a fucking whiney-ass baby and run away on the spot. I bet no one even cares I'm gone... I bet the haven't even noticed I'm gone. Levi and that slut are probably still shoving their tongues down each other's throats." Ace notices my sad self, and trots on over to me. He lays down, placing his head on my leg. I start petting him. "I'm braiding your mane, I don't care if you're a boy." I can just see him glare at me. I laugh.

...

A few hours pass, and I get up and brush the dirt off my pants. I open the back door and head inside. I walk over to the bedroom door. I open and close it once I'm inside. I change into my pj's. I slide into the bed, placing the knives and the bag on the floor. I close my eyes and let my mind wander...

- Time skip -

The sun shines it's way into my room, blinding me. I cover my eyes with my hands. I lay there flat on my back just staring at the ceiling (cuz nobody immediately gets out of bed without laying there for a bit) I sit up and swing my legs over the edge of the bed and stand up on my feet and make my way to the kitchen. I grab some bread and an apple and open the back door. Ace hears me, and gets up and makes his way over to me.

I smile and hand over the apple.

"What a good boy... Sorry I had to bring you out here." I say to him. He looks at me for a second and then continues eating his apple. "And here I am, talking to a horse." I take a bite out of the bread, which has gone a bit stale, but I still eat it.

I stand up and brush off the dirt. I walk into the house.

- time skip to the expedition -

I venture off on Ace to find a different place to crash. That other place is starting to fall apart and I'm not risking having the roof cave in in me while I'm sleeping.

I keep my eyes open just in case a Titan appears. I don't have any 3DM gear, so I need to be especially careful.

While I'm watching my surroundings, I hear a thumping sound. Like, something really heavy is being beat onto the ground. I turn around and see a Titan running after me. My eyes widen in fear.

"Faster!" I yell and Ace picks up the pace. I don't have anything to protect myself with, so I hope that Titan will just lose interest after it realises its meal won't be easy to catch. But this is a Titan we're talking about.

Ace makes a quick turn, making the Titan slam into an abandoned building, making it crumble.

"FASTER BOY!" I shout. "This is our chance to escape!" The Titan picks it self back up and runs after us again. My heart beats so fast and so hard I can hear it in my head. It feels like it's in my throat.

I run into the forest, hoping I can somehow loose it in there with the thick ass trees and bushes.

Suddenly, a buzz sound catches my attention. And then a giant THUMP. Wind and dust blows by me, making me turn around. There lays the Titan laying there, dead on the ground. I pull on Aces mane making him slow down to a trot.

"Oi! What are you doing here?!" Someone shouts. I look to see some guy with brown hair and blue eyes. I'm making this character up btw so don't look him up.
He runs up to me and places a hand on Ace. "What are you doing out here?  You could've been killed."

"Yea, I know. But, I'd rather be free and afraid than trapped and safe. I want to be alone away from humanity."

"Well-"

"Oi what are doing?! Get back on your horse!" Someone else yells. I turn my head to see... Levi. Anger fills me up. My face red and my fists clenched in anger.

"Oh, look, it's the cheating bastard. I bet you didn't even notice I was gone." I say through clenched teeth.

"Y/n..." He whispers.

"Tch." He grabs my arm. A warm clear liquid falls down from his face and onto his shirt.

Tears.

"Y/n...please come back. I'm a mess without you... I miss you and what I did was unforgivable and completely stupid. You don't have to give me another chance, I just want you to come back, to make sure you're safe." He begs, his grip tightening.

"... Well, guess you should've thought about that before you decided to shove your dick in some whore." I say, and rip my arm out of his grip. "I'd rather be all alone than with you. Now leave me alone. For good."
