chapter 4: obsidians New apprentice vs the perverted author

Obsidian was traveling through a small town in fire country where he came across a book store curious as to what kind of books they sold since he himself was a writer even though he was a writer of the God's he was still a kitsune Who by nature were always curious he walked into The store and meeting with the store owner said." Excuse me.. but could you please tell me what your best selling book is currently???." The book store just giggles perversely and said." Sure thing.. this is the newest release of icha icha paradise and is highly recommended by The author." And obsidian asked as he read through the book." And just who exactly is it that writes this garbage for a book???. I demand to know!!!. These books are The most repulsive things I have ever read!!!. Misstress Kami Sama will have The Head of Who would demoralize woman in such a way that they would never write another book ever again!!!." And The store owner said." You have 30 minutes to prepare." Obsidian then walked over to the shelf where he saw a teenage girl who was to his good fortune.. not reading icha icha.. she was reading the only book that wasn't perverted called. 'the tales of a gutsy shinobi' he then approached her and said." Excuse me miss... what is your name???." And the girl said." My name is Brandi. Are you a writer mister..." And obsidian said." Obsidian scribe..at your service.. would you like to be my appearance in the way of the author???." And The girl said." More then anything!!!." And obsidian said." You see The store owner???. Well he's agreed to a little... challange If you will. A challenge where you and him will each write a 3 page novel and if I like it... that person shall forever be in my good graces. The looser...stops writing completely or finds something better to write." And the girl said." I shall not fail you Sensei. I will put that perverted Man out of business!!!." And obsidian said." I have faith in you young lady. Do your best.. remember..he's just another Man who can't get laid by women. Use that to your advantage." And so with his champion chosen and the Challenge issued the stakes couldn't have been higher for jiraia as he and the girl now known as Brandi sat on opposite sides of the store writing a 3 page novel each with their own reason for wanting to win. Jiraia then said to himself." I'll be damned if you let some novice writer beat me obsidian. That girl is nothing special." And Brandi said to herself." I must win!!!. I must impress obsidian Sama and become his apprentice!!!. I won't fail you my master!!!." Obsidian watched as both writers were using every ounce of imagination they had while watching the sand hour Glass and the more sand that hit the bottom the faster time passed by and obsidian made it so that the hour Glass couldn't be tampered with the last grains of sand Hit The bottom of the Glass and obsidian said." Times up!!!. Pens down and books closed I don't want to see what you have written until I collect it!!!." Jiraia and Brandi did as instructed and obsidian went to collect Their books The first book he read was by his future apprentice Brandi Wich was titled 'the fun filled adventure of obsidians apprentice.' as he read through the first page he was quite impressed from how her character met obsidian to The future traveling adventures they'd have after reading the final page he closed The book and gave it to his apprentice and said." Very impressive. Continue that as your first form of training my young apprentice. And now for your book jiraia." And jiraia said to himself." So he's made her his new apprentice Huh??. Looks like I'll have to step up my game in The future." Jiraia then asked as obsidian finished reading the last page." So what do you think???. Pretty good right???." And obsidian said." The interactions with the characters are All wrong. You have it centered around The main character to much giving him All the credit for his comrades hard work. In essence.... your main character has an over inflated ego Who takes credit for what others helped him accomplish.. it's trash..." Obsidian Then threw the book in Jiraia's face and set it and every single icha icha paradise novel in the store on fire. And jiraia said." NOOOO!!!. Your a monster!!!. Those were my best work!!!." Jiraia then felt all sense of pervertedness leave his body and as obsidian and Brandi left for The door he said." Return to konoha and help raise your god son..my apprentice and I shall be there ONCE we collect your teammates and punished them also." And jiraia said." Your insane If you think tsunade and orochimaru will bow before you!!!. " And obsidian said." Have you forgotten Who I am???. What my book of judgement let's me do???. They will come back to konoha even if I have to write them down to do so... good day." And so with Jiraia's hard perverted work burning before his very eyes he summons a toad and gave it instructions to warn tsunade and orochimaru about having an unexpected visit from The scribe of the God's and his apprentice. After leaving the store obsidian gave his new apprentice a book and medallion similar to his own The only difference was that this book was purple instead of white like obsidians book was and Brandi said." Thank you Sensei I love it!!!. It's my favorite color. How did you know???." And obsidian said." Let's just say that I had a good feeling about making you my appearance when I saw you not reading icha icha paradise and knew you were going to be the one too succeed me one day. Now we have to keep moving if we're going to make it to the town of tanzaku gai before night fall." And Brandi said." Yes Sensei. Forgive me. I didn't mean to delay us any more than we have been." And obsidian said." No problem.. I am not a wrathful god... Unlike Kami Sama and shinigami Sama...I'm a peace keeping negotiator of The gods.
