Mom "This is nice" I said as I walked into Jason's 2 story house. I was surprised by how clean and neat it was. The furniture blended perfect with the walls and the tables, now I knew damn we'll Jason didn't do all this. "Who decorated cause this is definatly a woman's touch" I said as I turned to face him since he was still standing at the door. "My sister, she lives about 5 minutes away" he said honestly. "So where are your nieces" I questioned. "There coming" he said bluntly "c'mon let's start studying" he said as he walked away, I followed him into a bedroom with a desk, a king sized bed & dressar a to match. It was honestly a beautiful room. "Sit here" he said as he pulled out a chair from the desk and then exited the room. I sat down and started to take out my notes from my backpack when my phone started playing "my boo" by usher and Alicia keys indicating that trey was calling me. I answered right away.

"Yes baby" I said

"Where tf are you"

"I told you was at the university in the libary.. Remember"

"Man I'm not finna ask your ass again.. Where tf are you cause your not at the fucking libary cause I'm at the fucking libary" he yelled.

"I'm at a friends house studying baby, okay " I said almost whispering

Right then Jason came back in the room and said "you want something to drink ma". I was scared shitless because I knew that trey heard it and this was all a very bad look. I put my finger to my mouth to shush Jason so he wouldn't make it worse.

"Bitch who tf is that" he yelled

"Baby thats my friend, were studying" I tried to calm him

"You know what k, you sneaky as hell, tell me where tf you are right now cause I'm coming to get your ass"

"I can drive trey, please calm down it's not what you think" I pleaded

"Get home now" he yelled before hanging up. I started grabbing my notes as fast as I could and stuffing them in my bag. I didn't wanna make trey anymore madder. "What happend" he said as he walked up close to me. "Nothing I just got to go Jason, I'm sorry". I zipped up my bag then hurried through the front door

When I walked in my house with tierra in my arms it was 7:00. I had decided to just pick her up from daycare early. There were no lights on in the house is I knew trey wasn't there. I was relieved. I went upstairs and put Tierra in her crib since she was sleeping and then I got in the shower. When I got out the shower I wrapped a towel around myself then went into my room & trey was sitting on our bed... Staring at me.

"You cheating on me k" he said

"No, Jason's just a friend baby" I whined. Trey got up & pushed me into the wall as she chocked me. I clawed at his arms while tears flooded my eyes

"You lying ass bitch" he seethed as his grip got tighter around my neck. I tried to talk but no words came out. After a few more seconds he let me go and I fell to the floor catching my breath and crying. Trey grabbed his phone and left before I even got a chance to stop him

"Girl I miss you" nicki said to k through the phone

"I miss you more nic, when are you gonna visit me" k said. Nicki went off to college in Arkansas after everything that happend. August ended up dying and nicki decided she would just leave and start over. Nicki has a 2 year old son named jay who is august child and the whole situation with august fucked her up in the head so she wanted a fresh start.

"Soon girl I was actually thinking in 2 weeks because jay's birthday is coming up and I want to bring him to see his family"
