Pain is the papercut that won't heal. It is the blisters of sorrow that were scratched open.
Pain caresses at your head and intrudes into your thoughts. It engulfs you into a black hole of despair.
Pain makes the world stop. It makes life seem not worth living.
Pain is the girl who cries herself to sleep. It is the child that has no parents.
Pain eats away at you from the inside. It grabs your heart and squeezes the life out.
Pain makes you seem untouchable when all you need is that touch. It makes you want to wake up with amnesia and forget about the stupid little things.
Pain is the thing that attacks your dreams turning them into nightmares. It is the river of tears that no one ever sees.
Pain crushes the eggshells of your aspirations. It pulls apart the strings of imagination.
Pain makes you forget about the good times. It makes you push away the ones you need most.
Pain is the kid who comes to class and no one knows about the bruises. It picks through what you love and turns it into what you hate.
Pain gags you and ties you up as it's hostage. It makes everything seem black and white when it's really all grey.
