My alarm rang by 6 in the morning, my mum had this thing of waking up early for jogging.
Outside I got an alert on my phone, it read:
Five feet apart premiere today by 2 pm. I smiled to myself.
After jogging I actually ran into my room, I called my best friend Andy.
"Hey boo, you actually up this early in the morning"
"Don't make me hang up, my dad had me up he says I must lose weight so I can have cute babies and still have a flat tummy"
"Did he say when?"
"You are so fucked up"
"I know"
"I saw the alert on Cole, I hope u are not thinking of going, girl, you have diploma lessons going on and since your mum said when you get more than a thousand dollars you can start living in your own"
"I can't do that unless I go for a stripper job and my dad's pastor will be against that plus I'm black I don't think blacks are strippers"
"Kate seriously, you can't go, did you hear me?" she echoed
"Yeah, I heard you" I hung up the phone, what else was I meant to do.
My mum came knocking on the door reminding me of my class.
Downstairs dad gave us the normal "make me proud" speech before he let us go and by us mean I and my 14year old brother, Fernando who always plays the Nintendo, hey that rhythms( i am so talented.)

I drove to class in my car, a lot of people ask why don't you get a limo since you are rich enough and I always say because there is no point if you want to draw attention a limo is what you get but if not just buy a normal car like anybody.

My dad rented a space for my friends and I in the school parking lot because if it gets scratched I would have to pay for it with my own money, dad gets touchy about cars very easily and it is annoying.

" Hey, Harry" I called out to my other best friend, who was standing outside the university main hall.

Harry jogged over to us he gave me a once over and asked " what are you wearing"

Before I could respond Andy came out of my car.

" She wants to go to five feet apart premiere" she shamefully disgraces me.

"did you really have to do that ?" I ask the annoying Andy.

Harry shakes his head " You aren't going anywhere" he grabs my arm and drags me through the university gates.
