"So how long are you staying with Bri's family?"

Savannah's dark, lengthy eyelashes flutter as she fixates her big doey brown eyes at her newest target, Puck.

Puck.

I know right.

It's so funny I would laugh, if I wasn't too busy plotting ways to kill her.

Not that I care about her or Puck. They can do whatever they want.

I wince.
Even in security of my mind, I didn't sound believable.

My sadly delusional friend (that i totally didn't want to stab) wasn't even looking at the road while she drove.
I have no idea how in the three years she's been driving she hasn't crashed yet. Or gotten a speeding ticket. Because right now as I gazed out the backseat windows, all I see is a blur.

I tighten my grip on my seatbelt.
The things we do for friendship.

When your family is as rich as Savy's, you could get away with anything including murder. But when you're Savannah Carmichael and the world and everyone in it are your dolls to move and manipulate around, you dont need a family to help you get away with murder.

"All summer at the very least. But you never really know when work calls."

Puck, or should I say Robin Goodfellow, shrugs lounging carelessly on the passengers seat. He looks out at the blurred surroundings, bored. Everything about him screamed nonchalantly except for the bandaged hand that rested delicately on his lap

Ignoring the guilty feeling that rises up my chest, I dare take another look out my window. My stomach turns.

She giggles, sounding like tingling bells before tossing a long honey blonde curl behind her shoulder. She really was ridiculously charming.

"That's so cool. Tell me more, Robin"

He straightens up, having her full attention (a thing the road continues to fail to obtain). His face lights up with his infamous devilish grin, then goes on to explain his freaking life story.

For the second time since I've met her, I feel sense of envy towards at her effortless allure.

I fight the urge to roll my eyes and shout at Savannah or pinch Puck or something.

I don't know what's more terrifying than seeing Puck getting along with Savannah. They acted like they were best buddies. Even though they just met like two minutes and fifty seconds ago. But nope, it hasn't stopped Savy from flirting with him. Or Puck shooting that slow, almost lazy, flirtatious smirk at her that always makes my stomach twist and turn.

In disgust, of course.

I decided that I had enough of it. Politely, clearing my throat in the midst of Puck enlightening story about his trip to Disneyland looking for a magic carpet or something. Savannah was smiling and laughing clearly thinking he was joking.

"Pu-.. um Robin" I call out realising that I was now being ignored by the occupied couple up front.

Puck turns his head. His bright, mischievous eyes land on me, laughter filled them

"What is it, Bri. Am I bothering your friend?"

My cheeks flare with embarrassment.

I try to make sure I focus all my irritation into glaring at Puck.

Bri? Why did him calling me by that nickname cause me so much embarrassment. All of a sudden the cute name my friends called me felt stupid. I felt 12 again. Everything I do analysed by a mocking Puck.
Puck is going to never let it go. He'll tease me until I die and then my tombstone will read 'Death by Endless Mortification'.
