*The kiss that catches you off guard, but's says I miss you, I'm sorry and please love me again all at once without any words being spoken*

He knew he was right. He just didn't want him to be. D'Eric was a kind loving guy and only said something when he was absolutely sure about it and would follow it to the grave. He wouldn't change his mind about it unless Black said something first. But this time he didn't say anything. Because he knew he was right. They were falling apart. And their worlds were falling with them. He didn't know why. But he wanted to. Black wanted to do a lot of things. He wanted to know what was wrong. He wanted to fix it. He wanted him to hold him close again. To touch his hair again. To kiss him again. He felt nauseous. He held his stomach and bit his tongue as tears burned their way through his eye. It's been years since...the accident and D'Eric had been one of those few people that helped him. He closed his eye and saw fire burning its way through him. He felt nauseous, too nauseous. He leaned against a nearby wall and fell to his knees. Sobbing and shaking and baring and clenching his teeth, he couldn't hold it in anymore. He felt nauseous. He felt like he needed to vomit. But he didn't. The pain stayed his stomach. No matter how hard he cried or tried to hold himself, he lost it. He was a mess. He never thought he could end up like this. Crying hopelessly over some cute boy who he hated in the first place. When did he even start liking him? He looked up and saw a bridge of terrifying heights stand above him. The Overpass. The Overpass was the tallest longest bridge in the District. It was a tourist place. Many memories are made on that bridge. Whether someone finally had in them to ask that special someone that special something or if someone took all of their courage, hope, and love and threw the empty shell of their body over the wall. Black had memories there. It was where his dad proposed to his mom. Where his sister took her first steps. Where his dad taught him how to fight. Where he found and lost his best friend. Where he had his first kiss. His first kiss. D'Eric was his first kiss. He closed his eye and leaned his head against the wall.
"I couldn't stand you at first but now I can't even stop thinking about you..."
He sighed. It was hopeless. It wasn't going to bring him back. Crying and being helpless won't bring him back. He was tired. Really tired. He pulled his knees up to his chest and sat in the dim streetlight. He was just tired.

How long has it been? Minutes? Hours?...Days? No. It couldn't be. Black looked up from where he was sitting and sighed. He's still in the alleyway lit by the streetlight. He didn't know why he thought he'd be somewhere else. He put his head back in his knees.
"You're driving me crazy. Stop making me crazy"
"...Black?"
He flinched when he heard his name. He looked up slowly his eye wide, brimming with tears. There was a figure kneeling down to him. He recognized his orange hair and blue eyes immediately. How couldn't he? It was the same boy he's been crying about for the past month. D'Eric slowly put his hands on Black's shoulder.
"What are you doing here?" He whispered. D'Eric smiled as he got closer. The closer he got the more Black could see tears in his eyes.
"I've been looking for you, doofus"
Black looked away.
"Why? I thought you-"
He was cut off. D'Eric had pressed their lips together as soon as he opened his mouth. Black tried to pull away but eventually gave in. D'Eric held him tighter as tears began to fall. Black always told him he had different kinds of playful kisses. But when tears fell, it was real. It was a real kiss. One that said I'm sorry. It said I truly love you. It said come back to me. When D'Eric let go, he looked at Black who looked right back at him.
"I don't understand?"
"I was wrong, Black. We weren't falling apart, we never were."
He squeezed Black's hand and touched his cheek.
"I was getting worried. You'd go out more and more and I barely got to see you. It was to the point I was getting...jealous. I-"
"D'Eric?"
He looked up. Black put his hands on D'Eric's collarbone, right where his shirt exposed it.
"Just kiss me again...please."
They only smiled as their foreheads touched. Tears were staining their faces and shirts. But they didn't care. They had each other again. Black smiled as he took upon his request. He kissed him again. A real kiss more passionate.
A kiss that said I'm sorry.
A kiss that said I love you.
A kiss that said love me again.
