Chapter 1. Starlight

"Scarlet!" I heard Aaron yell from downstairs (their at starlight this is after Aaron got better). "What!?" I yelled walking out of my room. "Aphmau wants you!" He yelled back. I flattened my ears for a bit before walking downstairs. "What is it aph?" I asked. "Do you know where katelyn is?" She asked I shook my head "no, do you know where Colby is?" I asked starting for the stairs "I'm right here princess" I heard Colby say and come out of the bathroom "he's right there" aphmau said and walked off. "I can see that" I mutter (also I couldn't think of a name for him so 😅). "Jeez There you are I thought you left" I said to Colby as he walked over to me, "you think I would leave you princess?" He asked patting my head "well....I don't know" I said following him upstairs. "I would never leave you" he added looking back at me I shrugged I tried not to get super close to him considering what happened in high school. Jack who I thought loved me, he put up an act and got with Michi again even though I thought her and ein were dating. I really did trust him more than half of senior year and I thought ein loved me too.....

(Flash back)
I was walking around school trying to find ein with no success till I saw Kawaii-Chan peeking around the lockers, confused I walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder she jumped and turned around "scarlet-sama!" She said alarmed "what are you looking at?" I asked her. She glanced where she was originally looking and looked back at me "n-nothing scarlet-sama!" She said. I flattened my ears a bit and shoved past her, "S-scarlet-sama it's nothing!" She said but it was too late.... I saw ein and Michi kissing with ein's little gang close by. My ears flattened and my tail went between my legs and I started to cry. I stared at them and heard voices round the corner on the other side of them and spotted Aaron and aphmau, aphmau stopped dead and her eyes widened and Aaron looked and immediately looked at me. "E-ein....." i stuttered he stepped back from Michi and looked at me "what" he said seeming annoyed. "I-I-I thought you loved...me" I said starting to cry "love you!?" He said "I never did!" He added that was my breaking point my eyes began to get red and anger and sadness hit me at once I turned and started running to the front doors of the school and heard footsteps running behind me I glanced back and saw Aaron I stopped and he stopped beside me. "Are you ok?" He asked softly "do I look ok!?" I yelled he frowned and hugged me and I started crying hard. "I thought he loved me!" I said in between sobs.

(Next flashback)
I was standing with Aaron talking having a good day so far when I glanced around looking for jack. I spotted him.....but what I saw broke my heart his hands were interlocked with michi's and they were kissing. I turned toward them and Aaron looked, he looked furious "jack?" I said he pulled away and looked at me "how could you?" I asked. He shrugged, like it was nothing! "I don't love you anymore" he said casually that broke my heart even more. "What is wrong with you!?" Aaron yelled "Aaron don't" I whispered. I glanced up at jack to see if he was under a spell, he wasn't...... Michi smirked. That dumb smirk! I almost snapped but Aaron quickly grabbed my hand and led me out of the school and brought me home where Melissa and and mom were. I broke down and started crying.

(End in flashbacks)
I flattened my ears and Colby looked back at me and frowned he stopped and pulled me into a hug "baby I will never leave you" he said says I started crying "a-are y-you s-sure?" I stuttered "I'm sure" he said "your too adorable to leave" he said in a more cherry voice and stepped back and began to pet me, I purred softly and he grabbed my hand and led me to the room where I just layed down next to him while he softly pet my head.

(What scarlet looks like: light pink hair, light pink ears and tail, ice blue eyes. What Colby looks like: dark brown hair fading to black, ocean eyes.)
