Brad's POV
After the exam Justin wanted to talk to me.
"Brad, how did you find this exam?"
"It was quite hard but I managed to answer all of it."
"Has Andrea been helping you?"
"Yeah, she's great. I really like the way she teaches."
"Ok, that's good, I'm just checking up on you. That is all."
"Oh Justin, why did you choose Andrea to be the one to tutor me?"
"That's because she is one of the brightest student I teach and she needed this experience for her university application reference."
"Oh, what does she want to study in university?"
"She is applying to be a Nurse, she needs more experience in giving some time to help others in her community. She also volunteer at our local hospital. That girl is a real hard worker. She will go far in life because she deserve it."
"Yeah" was all I responded.
I left the room and tried to find Andrea. But she was nowhere to be seen, so I decided to go home.
There is something about Andrea I just can't figure out. I feel like she has secrets deep inside. I'm always wondering why she is always on her own like why doesn't she want to be friends with me? There are so much questions I want to ask her by I don't want to upset her. Brad, she will tell you when the time is right. I said to myself.
I decided to pay Andrea a visit. I knocked on their door and Ella, Andrea's little sister opened the door.
"Brad? What are you doing here?"
"Sup Ella? Is Andrea there?"
"No, she is not in here room but her car is here though"
"Do you know where she might be?"
"she usually walks down to the park, she does this like once a month. She likes to get away from people from time to time. She has like a little place there where she keeps coming back to."
"Since when has she been going to the park?"
"uhm.. Ever since errr.. I can't say."
"why not?"
"it's not my place to say. You know what that enough with the questions, if you want I could tell you the directions to where she is at."
"Please."
I followed her directions and it lead me to the deepest part of the park. It was so hided not many people know this part of the park. As I followed the worn out path, I immediately saw Andrea but she was facing the river stream, she has her earphones on so she didn't realise that I was behind her. She looked so peaceful and at ease. I didn't want to disturb her. I could just stand here and just look at her all day long.
I approached and sat down next to her.
Andrea POV
There is always this one place where I just relax and escape from the reality. I found this place when I was little, my granddad took my siblings and I to this place to have bonding time with him and grandma. It a nice place I love it. I come here if I'm sad, upset or just needs a place to run to. This is like my comfort zone. Once I ran away from home and just stayed here but eventually Tom found me and sent me home. I came down here today because a lot has happened for the past month.
I placed my earphones in my ear and listened to my favourite sad music playlist. I was getting in the groovy of the sweet, sad song when someone sat down next to me and scared the hell out of me.
