Prologue

Screaming. Crying. Howls in pain. This is what I woke up to. The sun wasn't shining through my window yet so I knew it was either really late at night or extremely early in the morning. Hearing my mother scream I ran or more like sprinted down the stairs tripping over my feet in the process. As soon as I was outside I saw my pack fighting against hunters. We were outnumber. We were losing. I glanced around to find mother laying in a pool of her own blood, running towards her with tears streaming down my face. Bending down near her trying to stop the blood and screaming for help, my mother used the last of her strength to turn and look at me.

"I love you Amelia, we're losing this battle, run as fast as you can and save yourself, my last wish it for you to run, GO!!!"

I didn't need to be told twice as I saw my dad get shot in the head by a hunter. I sprinted toward the forest, surprisingly not getting seen by hunters, running south and not stopping.

The sun is high in the sky telling me that is midday, all I can think about is that I am a rouge, a orphan, my parents are gone, I am alone. I don't see how I am going to survive in the wild, I mean I haven't even turned into my wolf yet. If you haven't caught on already, I am a werewolf a rouge to be exact. I will turn into a werewolf next year when I turn 16. But for now I am just a human living in a forest alone.
