🍑Kaseyda🍑

The female’s delicate frame moved forward with elegance, her cloak disguising most of it except for the bright blonde hair locks that cascaded down over her chest. Kaseyda had relocated from the dark alley to a more dim lit tavern, now heading over and positioning herself as close to a distant corner as possible. Once a waitress showed up, she ordered a glass of red wine and gave the woman a few Aryn coins. Awaiting the arrival of her order, Kaseyda let her rose red optics soak up the appearance of the architectural structure which looked like most classic old taverns; wooden floor, walls and ceiling with rooms lit up by lanterns that were decorated with chairs, tables and rugs created by the skin of hunted down animals such as bears being one example. The drink arrived and she took a gentle hold of the glass, swirling the red liquid around and taking in the smell it gave off before bringing the rim of the glass up to her soft, rosy lips. She took a sip and savored the flavor, then felt the liquid trickle down her throat before giving her a faint warm feeling. Setting the glass down onto the table, the female leaned back upon her chair before allowing her muscles to relax; a slow sigh escaping her lungs.

His lip curled up involuntarily, he watched Adira and her companion closely as they continued to slaughter the creature who had been otherwise innocent. His stomach churned, not because he was queasy over the blood or gore alone. He was undeniably of Elven blood and his people, well they worshiped the earth and its living things. They were vegetarians mostly, though seeing as his father had decided to fornicate with someone outside of his own kind, Theone had apart of him that was attune with the slaughter. His brows furrowed and without word he about faced from the pair towards the stream. As he moved away he blinked away the sights he’d just witnessed and stopped from his blood covered clothing. One by one he rinsed his garb before he stepped into the water himself.

🦁 Anahu ~he who laughs~ 🦁

Anahu had woken up before the crack of dawn, like usual. The young man had a job to do. Living on the outskirts of the sea of trees, he had taken it upon himself to make sure that the beasts that dwelled within, didn't get out and wreck havoc on the citizens of Arynheyl who lived just outside. Being from Ducairn originally, Anahu had relocated as a boy with his lion cub as a companion. Shaka was the closest family Anahu'd ever had, seeing as he hadn't seen his parents since. They had sent him to Arynheyl to for reasons he hadn't understood as a child, sent to live with a distant aunt and uncle who had raised him. They had been close but, but Anahu always felt most comfortable with Shaka.

Now in his early twenties, Anahu was living along with just his lion in a small hut in the fringe of the trees. Anahu was known for his laughter, he was a cheerful man, and a lover of animals. He got along with people, choosing to live in a rural location just so he could do what he was good at. He only killed when he needed to, not for any gain or sport. Just to protect the people.

Recently Anahu had heard of sighting of one of the so called beasts, around the villages near the forests. He and Shaka had been tracking it for a few days now. He was accustomed to the different tracks and Shaka knew which scents to sniff out. The pair were a team. Stepping out his hut, Anahu walked along the rich earth with to sit on his haunches beside the large male lion, draping an arm around his neck. His tanned arm was almost completely engulfed by Shaka's thick, soft mane. "You ready to go?" he murmured to his friend in Aryn, being fluent in more than one language. Shaka titled his head to the side, leaning on him heavily as he rolled his big brown eyes up to look at him. It was almost as if he was saying, 'not yet'. Anahu just grinned down at him, chuckling as he rubbed his mane playfully.
"Oh, come on Shaka. We almost have this one," he pleaded with him, beginning to rough play with the large feline. Shaka rolled onto Anahu, his tail flicking and brushing against the man's legs, almost suffocating him as he was so big. Anahu only grinned wider, falling to his side as he was squashed between the ground and his lion, too breathless to even laugh, let alone scold Shaka.
