The magic knight's test

Aki's Pov

It's been 6 months since I came to this world and with this magic, I learned new things. With the help of Yuno, I learned how to ride a broom and channel my magic. Though I still have my quirks, it's just made into magic, 'I hope Todoroki is doing good, I'll meet him at the capital'. Asta, Yuno and I leave tomorrow for the capital, I've had fun here in Hage village though I trained every day away from the church, I still visited on the weekends for more food and water and to see the kids. I slept at the church and saw Asta for the first time in months, we had dinner and went to bed early.

In the morning I made sure I had everything I needed and extra food and water since it'll take a few days to get there. "Goodbye guys" I hug everyone and then we were off.

Todoroki Pov

6 Months have passed, Magana showed me how to use my magic and we were leaving for the capital today. For those months I trained every day to get stronger, I have. The people in the village hated me but I stayed out of there way, after saying goodbye we set off for the capital 'Akimoto please be there, I miss you'. We reached the forest and started walking for days until we made it to our destination. Once we entered we made our way to the arena for where we join the magic knights.

3rd Person Pov

Todoroki (158) entered the arena, waiting for his friend, while people were staring at him and saying things about his scar. Outside Asta(165), Yuno (164), and Aki (166) were in line signing up. Once they got there numbers they entered. Akimoto searched for her friend but with the crowd it was hard. Birds then swarmed around them, Yuno was free of them but Asta was covered in them Aki was about to help when she heard whispers 'do you see that dude, who has two hair colors', 'the one with the scar is a freak'. She then saw the split haired boy and walked over to him.

Aki Pov

I saw the duo haired boy and walked up to him, "Todoroki?" I called just in case it wasn't him. He froze and turned around to met my eyes "Akimoto?" he asked to see if it was me, I jumped in his arms recognizing the scar on his face "Omg it's been so long, I was scared and worried for you" I started to cry, "same but I knew you'd be here" he smiled. 'Woah they know each other', 'Man commoners', 'Freaks'. I sent out a deadly Aura to scare them off then sent them a death glare as well. I could tell Todoroki got chills, "hehe....um...Ko c-can you stop" I heard Asta say behind me 'Oh, sorry it's just, how dare they" I crossed my arms. I then remembered "Oh yeah Asta meet Shoto", "Shoto meets Atsa" I introduced them. "So this is the one you were looking for?" Asta asked I just nod. "How do you know this person Akimoto?" Todoroki asked, "Oh when I fell from the sky, I landed on him and well his family took me in until we could meet again," I told him. He just nods while I see Asta watching us, "You good bro" I turned to Asta "Yeah it's just now that you found him are you going to leave" he started to look down. "Nope, I'm going to stay here for as long as I can, right Shoto", "Yeah".

The birds started to peck at Asta then he ran away, "WHY ARE THESE TRYING TO KILL ME" he then ran into a dude that had a weird vest on "DO you have a death wish" he glared at Asta 'wait I recognize his features Black hair, tall, has a cig in his mouth, he's Japanese' I missed what Asta said to him and now he was trying to kill him. I walked up to him "If you please let go of my friend, I'm sure he didn't mean any harm" he looked at me and still kept his grip on Asta's head. "And who the hell are you" he growled. My grimoire came out and I was ready t stop time to free him, "Let him go sir" I started to get mad. Todoroki was behind me watching "hehe...Your powerful but what could you do." I then stopped time except me and him "Now if you please, let go of my friend and I'll stop using my magic" I then started to glare at him more "Ugh fine we're starting soon so whatever." He dropped Asta and I stopped using my magic, everyone just blinks multiple times "Captain Yami let's go there starting" a kid with brown hair said. They left and this dude was talking to Asta about the Nine captains of the magic knights. One of them stood out to me and that was the crimson lion captain "so a fire user, interesting" Todoroki said stepping next to me. I still eyed Captain Yami.
