Bismuth ran back out of her room with an outfit on that you've never seen before (probably because she never really changes her clothes, which was fine and all, but like, come on bruh). She was wearing a tee shirt with (insert some design, I personally prefer metal band related stuff, but whatever works for you) on it, shorts (damn, is it hot in here or is it just all the fire and lava?), a flannel tied around her waist, and a metal beaded necklace, which you assumed she made herself. You stood and stared at her in awe. "Wow, she looks beautiful tonight, maybe I should complement her," you think to yourself, but the more you thought about it the more you thought it might not be such a good idea, you don't want to seem like a creep. But then again, complements are a normal thing in conversation, and it would probably make her happy, that is, if she doesn't take it the wrong way, you don't want the same thing that happened to Pearl awhile back to happen to you! You finally decided that you need to step up your game and remind her how pretty she is, so you run through your mental list of word choice and settle on something nice to say.

"You look very nice tonight, Bismuth!" you say, blushing a little.

"Aww, thanks, (y/n)! You do too!" replied Bismuth, slightly blushing as well.

Congrats, Bismuth complemented you! You try not to get too worked up over this, but you just end up getting red in the face, and nearly start crying.

"U-umm-mm....t-thank you!" you struggle to say.

You and Bismuth walk out of the forge and take the warp pad back to the temple. You start to walk towards the door when you're suddenly stopped by Amethyst.

"Heyyyy!!~ Where are you two going?" Amethyst asks, as Garnet walks up beside her.

"Oh, um, we were just going out for dinner together!" you say.

"Oh cool! Can we-" Amethyst begins to ask if she and rest of the Crystal Gems could go out too, but was interrupted by Garnet.

"Well, you two have fun!" says Garnet, smiling. You had a feeling that she knew what was going on (which she probably does due to her future vision).

"Haha, we will!" says Bismuth as she opens the door for you. You had a feeling that tonight was going to be a great night.

You and Bismuth were walking across the beach, talking over where to eat at. You didn't want to go anywhere too casual, but you also didn't feel like going somewhere super fancy either. You both eventually settle on going to (insert a restaurant), but it's kinda far, so there's going to be a bit of walking involved. Of course, Bismuth didn't mind, thank goodness. The only issue was that you weren't sure if you were going to be able to make that far of a walk, but you were willing to make the sacrifice and walk anyways.

After about 10 minutes worth of walking, you were beginning to grow tired, you and Bismuth were talking about the weather.

"Oooohh, just look at that sunset!" said Bismuth, excitedly. "It hasn't looked this good in a couple weeks. Just look at the way the colors reflect in the ocean!"

You both sit down for a couple minutes to admire the sunset. It was a quiet and peaceful evening. You didn't realize until now that you were sitting awful close to Bismuth, but she didn't seem to mind. You lean on her shoulder just to see how she would react, and she didn't mind this either. Instead, she looks down at you and smiles. You start blushing a lot and decided that it's time to get going (to save yourself from the embarrassment).

"Oof, we should probably get going if we want to make it to dinner," you say while getting up.

"Yeah, you're right, let's go," says Bismuth, willingly.

While you were walking, Bismuth noticed that you were starting to get tired, so she picks you up and carries you the rest of the way.

You and Bismuth were enjoying dinner together. Bismuth was talking about how she made the necklace she was wearing.

"So yeah, that's how I did it. I'd teach you how to do it too, but it's kind of dangerous , and I don't really want you getting hurt y'know," she explained.

"Cool, I didn't know you made jewelry too!" you replied.

"Yeah, it's kind of a secret hobby of mine. Ever since I made Ruby and Sapphire's wedding rings I've been really into it. It gives me something else to do, I guess."

You look at her necklace again, and then you look at her. She looks at you too. You both stare into each other's eyes for a couple moments, and then you start to laugh and blush at each other. You start to wonder if she really does have feelings for you, but you don't let it get to you too much, to prevent yourself from ruining the good time you were having.

It was dark, and you and Bismuth have returned back to the temple safely. You walked inside, holding her hand. Amethyst immediately runs up to Bismuth.

"UGH YOU'RE FINALLY HOME, IT TOOK YOU LONG ENOUGH! Come with me to my room, I found this really cool thing at the dump and I thought you might like it!" shouts Amethyst as she takes Bismuth into her room.

You sigh, throw yourself on the couch next to Garnet, and stare up at the ceiling. You keep thinking about the time you spent with Bismuth tonight and if it meant anything.

"You have a crush on Bismuth, don't you, (y/n)," says Garnet.
