A Fragile girl

A chill night with kiri

I rush into my room, the sun  setting.
I sit at my desk and i turn on my computer, putting on my headphones and calling kirishima.

"Hey bro! you ready to play some Mario cart?" He asks.

"duh, your getting your ass kicked though."

He laughs and says "Probably."

I grab my Nintendo switch from my keyboard.

"Oh sweet! there is a new game mode!"  He says.

"Oh really!? Lets play that!" I say.

I look up to the computer screen.

"Hey.. Do you want to come over instead?" I ask.

He looks up to his computer,

"Sure!"

"I've got a TV in my room if you just wanna chill in here!" i say.

"Oh! Yeah ill be over there in like 10 minutes!" He says getting up from his chair.

"Okay!"

The call ends.

I quickly stand up and turn on my room lights, turning on my TV and setting up the switch onto the TV.

I take the 2 controllers and i toss them on my bed, looking around the room, as if i needed to make it perfect.

"Snacks!"

I rush into the kitchen and grab a bag of popcorn from the pantry, taking the plastic wrap off and tossing it into the microwave.

I grab a bowl and the microwave goes off, i open the microwave and tear open the bag of popcorn, pouring it all in the bowl.

I set it on the end table next to 2 unopened soda bottles.

I rub my eyes and look at my alarm clock, 9:30.

The doorbell rings and i rush out of my room to the front door.

"We gotta be quiet until we settle in my room, Asui is sleeping."

He holds a thumbs up, we quickly rush into my room, i close the door behind kirishima.

I sit beside kirishima on the bed and i grab my controller.

"Ready?" I ask.

"Lets do this!'' He says gripping onto his controller.

We start the game.

"Oh, so basically we are trying to get that star looking thing and keep it for 20 seconds!" i say.

"Yup! only 15 more seconds!" He says.

"You're not gonna have that star for too much longer bud." I say.

"Oh yeah well-"

i take the star from him.

"WELP" he yelps.

3, 2, 1.

"You always win!" He says.

"When i went to middle school i didn't have a lot of friends, so i turned to video games." I say.

I look over at him and our eyes meet, i look into his red eyes.

We lean in closer to each other.

I tilt my head a little to the left, he tilts his to the right, we move in closer.

There is a knock at the door, i open my eyes and i'm nose to nose with kirishima, if we were any closer, we'd be touching.

"Ill get it" I say standing up and walking over to the door. I open the door.

"Oh- Hey asui! Why are you up?"

"I was gonna ask if you guys wanted anything to drink." She says, her finger to her chin.

"No, we are alright." I say.

"Alright!" She says walking off.

I close back the door and sit down beside kirishima again.

I Look over at him, he was looking down covering his face with one of his hands.

"Is everything okay..?" I ask.

"Y-yeah i'm fine..."

I sigh.

I pop my knuckles and we start to play again.
