Y/Ns POV
"Y/N!! Can you come down here please! We are leaving now!!"
"Okay dad!! Almost done with the last box!!"
I packed the last few pictures and placed them carefully in the box careful not to break the frame. I got the ducktape and folded the top of the box and gracefully put the clear ducktape on the rim of the folds of the box. I put another piece of ducktape on it and placed my hands at the bottom of the box and walked down the stairs.

As I walked down I started to notice my surroundings seemed different.  Weird I've lived here all my life but it feels so different.... I thought to myself. Walking down the stairs that I first learned to walk on. I took my final step on the stairs and looked at the living room one final time. The couch was no longer there, neither was the TV or anything really. Just a broken floor board and a few stains on the wall from my brother Lucas spilling his coke on the wall. I remember dad got really mad. But I was laughing as he yelled at him.

I then walked into the kitchen where my dad made pancakes and ordered us pizza. It was always the three meat stuffed crust pizza, and the pancakes were always chocolate chip with a side of bacon with syrup dripping over the sides of the plates. But this is also the place that me and Lucas found out about our dads job promotion. Saying that we are moving to Vancouver, we are gonna live in those rich boy neighborhoods for some reason. My grandfather died and my dad got a crap ton of money because of the inheritance. Me and Lucas just went along with it and were told to start packing and get everything in boxes. Now here we are getting ready leave the place that I have called home for these wholesome years.

I walked out of the kitchen through the living room and onto the front patio. I looked at the place where the rocking chair that dad always used to tell us ghost stories while we were on his lap. He would always keep the fairy lights on to make sure we weren't too scared. I stepped down on the steps that have had paint torn from the edges being ruined by me and Lucas being running and tripping over the steps from our games of tag. I took the last step and turned around.

I looked at my house for the very last time. And who knows? Maybe I'll get to see this rusted broken down house I have lived with for my whole life. Maybe I'll get to see the roof that me and Lucas snuck up to, to see the stars. And maybe I'll get to see my old room again. I may not right now, but I know I will soon.....

"Y/N! Come on!" I looked at who was calling out for me. It was my brother Lucas his (H/C) brushed up against his face with his (E/C) eyes. I smiled at the thought of Lucas still being happy despite this change in his life. I walked to the trunk of the car and put the box in along with the other twenty. I got my backpack from the trunk and put my headphones in. I put on the song Hey There Delilah. I looked out the window and looked at the trees passing by swiftly and the other cars passing by. Soon enough it was  turning black.

"Y/N, it's time to get up." I looked up and it was my dad. He gently placed his hand on my shoulder and lightly shook me. I looked up and we were here. In Vancouver. Out of my home town never knowing when I will ever see the home that I grew up in with so many memories have been in. I wonder if someone will buy it, it's so old it might be torn down...

I took my headphones off and took my phone and placed it in my bag. I looked at the new house and honestly it's okay. It's big and its white and it looks nice. But is it old? Does is have some floor boards missing? Does is have stains from drinks spilling? Does it have memories? No. It doesnt. It's too big, too bright. Its all white. The patio doesnt even have a rocking chair. Just roses eating at the wood along with the thorns poking in the wood as well. The stairs are so neat and clean and none of them made a creak or a noise as I walked up. "Okay Y/N your room is up the stairs and on the left." My dad said, I smiled slightly thinking on how my life is changing. It's too fast. I'm not ready for this change.

I walked inside and a sense of dizziness hit me. I have to get used to this house. The floor wasnt even wood. It was marble mixed with grey and white splotches all over that are devided up into squares. I walked up the stairs and it was pure white. The rail was wooden and polished. I didn't see any splinters in any of it. It was smooth and no flaws were shown in the mold. I got on the second floor and j stepped on the marble floor. The door was a white one but it was wooden with an old fashion look to it. The door knob though was glass with gold in the middle of it. I put my hand on the knob taking in the cold glass and the metal feeling of the gold middle. I opened the door and looked inside.

There was a matress was in the middle of the room. It used to be next to the window... I looked at the rest of the surroundings and the floor was carpeted with white wool that was just enough for my toes to sink into the carpet. I looked at my bed, put my hands on the side, and moved the bed towards the window. A few minutes later the bed was at the window. I heard a knock and turned around being startled.

"Hello dear! You probably dont know me but I am the mother of your roommate! Finn Wolfhard!"  I froze. "Wait. Your talking about the person who plays Mike wheeler in Stranger Things and Richie Tozier in IT!?¡¿¡¿"
"Yes. He is. FINN GET UP HERE!!!!" I froze as I heard finn's voice echoing throughout the halls, "Coming!!!" I saw a boy who was fairly tall with curly black hair with a few strands in his face. He had a light blue buttoned up shirt as a jacket over his white T. He wore dark navy blue jeans with his shoes showing having some parts  of the cuffs tucked in. "Hey I'm finn."
"I've heard," I replied, " my name is Y/N"
"Oh, I'm in the room next door, but technically I am in the other side because we have a bathroom that connects so...."

I looked around and he was right. There was my room and then the bathroom, then his room. I nodded in respons. "Okay well I'll leave you two to get to know each other." His mom said, then left. We stood there in awkward silence. "So how do you like it in Vancouver so far?" He asked, "Its okay. I miss my old house though. It was such a big part of me and I have been in there since I was little so it was pretty hard to move. You know?" He nods implying that he understands... we sat there having whole conversations. Sharing laughs and having fun. The next thing we know its eleven a clock at night. "We should be heading to bed..." I said looking at him in the eye, his eyes were a chocolate color. The type of chocolate that is dark but is sweet in it's own way. He got up off my bed and went towards the door.

"See ya tomorrow Y/N... I like talking to you, your easy to talk to." Then he opened the door and went to his room. I looked out the window. Oh shoot I still gotta put on my sheets, and unpack! I got my sheets and quickly put them on the matress. I then got my box of clothes and opened them, grabbed my PJs and changed into them. I grabbed my toothbrush and brushed my teeth. I combed my head before I go into my room. I looked out the window and put the covers over me. I placed my head on the pillow and let my head slide into the fabric of the pillow and felt myself drift off into a dark deep sleep.
