"Savannah, wake up!” my mum said, calling upstairs to my room.
“But I don’t wanna…” I groaned, grabbing my fluffy blanket and covered my head.
“Savannah, GETCHO BUTT DOWN HERE!” a familiar voice shouted.
My eyes snapped open and I tumbled out of my room, heading downstairs.
I saw a teen boy with light brown hair, brown eyes, and a sly grin that formed on his face when I burst into the living room.
“JUSTIN!” I shouted, tackling him.
“ELMO!” Justin exclaimed as we toppled over onto the couch.
Justin, my adopted brother, has a few nicknames for me.
All with their own reason.
He calls me Elmo because I am like, ADICTED to Elmo. When I was little I always watched it. And right now, I always randomly shout ‘LALA LALA, LALA LALA, ELMO’S WORLD!’. And I have a whole bunch of Elmo clothes.
He calls me Pickle because I can be sweet, sour, or spicy. My attitude, I mean.
He calls me Sparky because I’m really tomboyish, I have a sparky attitude, and I’m always crazy and hyper around my friends.
He calls me Swaggie because my style is…well…SWAGGIE!
Last, and my least favorite, Pretty Princess. Because when I was 3 I was super girly, and I was addicted to the Bratz for a week. Then I liked Elmo again.
My iPhone 5G started blasting the Care Bear theme song, and I knew it was my BFFSIGA (Best Friend Forever Since I Got Adopted) Sarah Lloyd.
I slid my thumb across the bottom of the screen, unlocking it, and looked at the text.

My eyes bulged out of my head as Justin opened the front door, saying, “Savannah, someone’s here to see you!”
WHO IS IT?!?!?!
I looked around Justin and saw Niall Horan.
“Savannah….meet Niall…” Justin said awkwardly. “Niall….meet Savannah…..your future wife.”
