Chapter 4: Art Is Hot~

When the bell rang, everyone else showed up and we took our seats. I had first hour with Fran and eighth hour with Kylie. I sat with Fran at our usual table, and waited for our instructions. Chris walked over to the door, closed it and said "Okay everyone, listen up!" I leaned over to Fran and whispered "I think Art just got hotter." She nodded in agreement, and everyone stopped talking. We all turned our attention to him, and he looked at all of us. "As you guys see, I'm your new Art teacher, Chris Cerulli. You guys can either call me Chris, Mr. Cerulli, or whatever. Just because your former teacher for this class, Mrs. Raymond left, doesn't mean I don't expect work from you guys."

 Everyone groaned, and I just rolled my eyes. "I know, I know, you think I'm one of those hard ass teachers, but I'm not. I'm a chill person to be around, but I want you guys to do your best. And if you can't follow my rules, then you can just get your stuff together, and I'll personally take you down to the Principals office, myself...Are we clear? Do you want me to dumb it down more?" We all shook our heads and he said "Good. I'm looking forward to teaching you guys, and I want this to be a fun class for you. But if you respect me, I'll respect you back. Simple as that. Okay, let's go over the rules in here, and we'll move on."

After going over the rules, Chris said "Alright now that that's out of the way, it's time to take roll. When I call your name, say 'here', raise your hand, whatever floats your boat." After a few people he asked "Destiny Sola?" I raised my hand and said "Here." He nodded and asked "Franccesca Tardini?" She did the same and said "Here." I groaned...This is gonna be a long day. 

After the roll was taken care of, Chris said "Oh and before I forget, I have one more thing...I'll be making a seating chart and you'll be assigned a new seat tomorrow. This will be your seat for the rest of the year." Everyone started complaining and I just looked at Franccesca with wide eyes. "I don't want a new seat...You and Kylie are the only people at this school, who I don't hate!" Fran said, pouting. Chris rolled his eyes and said "GUYS LISTEN FOR A SECOND, ALRIGHT?!" and with that said, all the protests stopped, and the room fell into a dead silence. You could hear a pin drop. "I know you guys don't want a seating chart, it sucks. But throughout this class, I'm gonna figure out who my talkers are, and I wanna keep them sepearated from their friends so they don't distract, everyone else." I sighed and rested my chin on my fist...This sucks. But hey...He's still a hot teacher.

After he explained everything, he said "Okay, now let's move on to our lesson. I want you guys to do some free drawing. Just whatever comes to mind, that's school appropiate. I just wanna see what kind of talent you guys have. This won't be for a grade, but I want you guys to turn it in. Spend the rest of the hour drawing, and if you need me, come up to my desk. Get busy." Everyone groaned, and I sighed. Well, better do something to keep me busy. I spent the rest of the hour drawing Tim Burton's version of The Cheshire Cat, in pencil.

When the bell rang, everyone got up, gathered their shit, and turned in what they had. When Fran and I got up to his desk, she handed him her paper and said "I'll meet you outside." I nodded and turned my attention back to him. I smiled and said "Here you go." handing him my paper. He took it and looked at it. "Holy shit, Destiny. This is awesome! You're really good!" I blushed a little and asked "Y-You really think so?" He smiled and said "I don't think so, I know so. You've got talent, that can get you far in life. I'm gonna have fun with you in this class, and I wanna see what else you can offer." I smiled and said "Thank you..I should get going." He nodded and said "Okay. See ya 8th hour, Miss Sola." I smiled and said bye before walking out.

Yep...
