I entered the magic shop, and now lost into your micro cosmos.
At first, I was hesitant to enter your magic shop. I know that magic shop will always be full of fun, pretty things that somehow never seen with my eyes. Magic shops will always be the same. They make people happy just for a second, forgetting temporarily the sadness within the hearts.
I always enter different magic shops every day. Happiness and glee, they always bring that to me. They make me comfortable and enjoy the view of their magic shop. But one day, I saw one magic shop downtown. It is the only magic shop I saw and somehow unattached to the magic shops I already attended. I'm in front of the shop, standing with my feet. I saw the door, it is bit dusty and their signage seems rusty, I decided to go away but there is one person who approached me. A young man, wearing cargo pants, plain white shirt and a pair of Vans shoes. He's also wearing a pair of glasses.
He smile at me and asked, "Do you want to enter to our magic shop?"
Me, hesitant. "I-I don't know. You're magic shop seems different, in a way that in any moment it will go crashed down."
"Oh, that. My apologies to you, young lady. It's just that the people who left here don't came back for good. And here I am, taking care of this magic shop. But I promise you that it will not crashed down." He answered me, not disappearing those smile.
Still uncertain, I just smiled at him and together, we entered the unattractive magic shop.
As I stepped inside, everything seems dull. They are no things inside. Things that I've expected to see inside of a magic shop is invisible in here. But there's a mini counter on the center of this shop.
"Well, this is not a magic shop I expected." I told the young man beside me.
"I told you, people here never come back for good. They abandoned this beautiful magic shop." He answered as he goes to the mini counter.
I just hummed and ask him again a question. "So, what happened here?"
Looking around, he sigh and answered me. "People here never find happiness, they seemed not to be contented on the happiness they made in here. Whenever they are here, smiles are visible on their face but deep inside they are sad. And this magic shop was never a solution to find their happiness."
"That's bad. Magic shops are always a spot in where people finds happiness." I just said, he just shrugged.
Silence filled between us.
As I looked around, there was this silver key I saw. "Hey, what's with this silver k—" I cut my sentence off and saw a man instead, wearing a black cloak and a mask. He is there at the mini counter, sitting and waiting for someone. With the cautious visible on my face, I just give him the silver key and he told me to close my eyes and open it in the count of three. I nod my head and start to count.
1, 2 and 3.
As I finished counting, I opened my eyes and found myself standing on the same magic shop I entered earlier. But this time, it's different. The magic shop I am in now is lively. There are lots of people, surrounding me. They seem to be happy. Adult or children. They are happy and I can't find myself but to smile. Everyone, everything in this magic shop is lively and happy. This magic shop is different from the magic shops I entered and visited.
I started to walk and look around. As I stepped on the last corner of the shelf, I found this small snow globe. Inside, there's like a shop with 7 people in front of it. I slightly shake it, making some of snows scattered around. I continued to shake it as I saw something on it. The snow globe. It shines. I mean, inside of it. The magic shop shines, including the 7 people. They shine. I just smiled widely as I continued to shake it.
