Chapter One

FIVE PAST SEVEN

I can't hear anything from up here. It was empty, hollow and dark, just like her. The world was spinning around me. I took a deep breath. I try to remember everything, just as it was, just as it happened. I took my cigarette out of my pocket and smoked, Making smoke rings, which seemed to calm me. Making me feel alive.

 I thought to myself, nineteen years of yesterdays and tomorrows and I must remember everything. Tonight, I must feel alive, I must make the most of it. I want tonight to be as long as my whole life...

 Year 2012 

BUS FARE FRIDAY

I walked into the bus and scanned my leap card. I did'nt want to sit because I knew that an elderly or a disabled person would come by and I will have to give up my seat anyways. I leaned against the window, watching the water drip across the glass pain. The bus stopped for this girl, She had brown hair and dark blue eyes. She walked in and scanned her card.

*beep*  *beep*  *beep* Meaning that their was no money left on her card. The bus driver looks at her and tells her that he can't let her in.

"Sorry, but I don't think I have spare change with me" she said innocently.

"Well I'm going to have to kick you out of the bus" The driver said. I walked over to the bus driver and dropped a euro so he could let her in. "Go on then" The driver said rolling his eyes. 

 "Um, thank you so much, I would have been late for school" she smirked. "How could I repay you?"

"Its alright, Its only a euro, want to sit with me upstairs?" I blushed, The water was dripping from her hair to her face as she wiped it and shivered.

"Sure, why not" she giggled and bit her lip. We walked upstairs and sat together, she had her earphones on, nodding to the beat of the song, while I was staring at her constantly.

"So whats your name?" I questioned.

"Alicia.." She muttered. "I know, ugly name"

"No, its perfect." I whispered into her hair. I then stared at her, "Luke, that's my name." 

"Well, Luke, thanks a lot for paying my bus fare" she giggled. I smiled back and still stared and her, biting my lips.  "Why are you staring at me?" 

"I am not!" I lied, I then looked away, blushing.

"Well I'm getting off now, thanks anyways." She grinned. She walked flawlessly and got off the bus. I looked at her through the window, as she waved at a guy and ran towards him for a kiss. The guy grabbed her waist and pecked her cheeks. I closed my eyes and gulped.

Why does she have a boyfriend, maybe that's her cousin or something. No, I said to myself, She has a boyfriend..

I was alone, my bag was sitting on top of my knee. I closed my eyes and dreamt about her. She was hot, she had long curly eyelashes and soft pale skin. If I were to feel her, the first thing I'd touch would be her kissable lips, and then her warm baby-soft cheeks. She was a real-life fantasy.

I snapped out of it and realized that I missed my stop. I ran downstairs and and got off the bus. As the bus passed a gang across the road started laughing while staring at me. I was drooling.  I quickly wiped it off with my navy jumper.

I walked slowly from the front yard into the school.

"Good morning Luke" Chris said. Yes I may seem popular in school since Chris greeted me, but no Chris is the school's janitor. 

"Good morning Chris" I said politely walking pass him. I walked into the hall and sat at the corner of my class'  table. The bell rang and I walked into my registration class.  After I had subjects after subjects. Nothing big ever happens to my life, just school, study and eat.

I found nothing interesting in life, just smoking. I may not look like I smoke but I do. I had nobody their, just my parents, I had no friends, no relatives. nobody.

The bell rang,

School was over, but my life was'nt.

By the way, The girl Alicia does not represent Luke's ex - Its just that this fanfiction is dedicated to my friend named Alicia.
