Chapter 2

When Miguel finally reached us he smiled at us brightly. Miguel was the type of guy who could make you laugh anytime, he was always there when you needed him. Alyssa was the sarcastic one and she always was on top of the gossip and reporting to me. But she also is a great friend.

"Hey girls," Miguel said.

"Hey," Alyssa and I said.

Miguel asks Alyssa and I, "Are we still on for our movie night?"

"Yea, my place tonight!" I exclaimed.

The three of walked together to 1st period. The day had passed by so fast and the the last bell just rang. I grab my bag and walk to the front doors. I go outside to Daemon's jeep and wait for him.

I look up and see Daemon walking towards me. I smile as he comes an he returns it.

"Hey," I said.

"Hey, how was your day?" Daemon asked.

"It was good, but it just got better," I replied.

We got in the jeep and drove to me house. I give Daemon a kiss goodbye and told him I would text later tonight. I walk up to my porch and go in and up to my room. I dropped stuff and dove in my bed. It felt like I was laying on feathers. While I'm laying down I hear noises outside, so I get up and go look out my window. I see a moving truck and a teenage boy, that looks my age, walking back and forth from the truck to the house. All of a sudden he turns and looks directly at my window and its shocks me how much he looks like someone I used to know. I finally realize I was staring and throw myself on my bedroom floor. I get up and look again to see him staring and man did he look good. I close my curtains and go down stairs to see my mom home.

"Hey mom," I said

"Hey sweetie."
"What are you making?" I asked.
"I'm making cookies for... the new neighbors," she said smirking.
I knew she was hiding something now band I was going to find out what.

"Here, take these over there and tell them we would be happy to have them over tonight," mom said.

I walk next door and knock on the door, and I tap my foot impatiently. A woman opens the door and I instantly remember her. Mrs. Ryder. Also known as Axel's mother. She opens the door wider as she squealed and gave me a big hug.

"Jiselle, it's so good to see you!" she said.

"You too."

"Oh, you have know idea how happy Axel was to know we were moving back," she told me. "Axel get down here now, Jiselle is here!"
I turn to the stairs as I here foot steps coming down. All of a sudden my heart started to beat rapidly and I felt the need to run from earlier, the window encounter. I can now see him coming.
