Chapter 1: Where Do Our Amulets Come From

It is another normal day and Michael, Crystal, Calum, Wengie, Collins, Luke, Sierra, Devan, Shawn, Niall, Sheryl, Raphael, Yuto, Aidan, Zoe, Thaiyo, Gun and Tanya are busy doing homework until Michael started talking about something.

Michael: Hey guys, do you know where our amulets come from?

Yuto: No?

Gun: Probably Ancient China.

Zoe: I dunno, maybe we should go see Ivy, maybe she'll know.

Calum: Okay but we have to finish our homework.

Zoe: Yeah.

After finishing their homework, they went to the hidden museum to meet Ivy.

Ivy: Well you're back guys, what do you need?

Michael: We have a question for you, where do our amulets come from?

Ivy: Your amulets? Well that is the most complicated question, maybe I could tell you the story.

Scene changes to flashbacks of all previous amulet holders.

Ivy: Many many years ago, in Ancient China, a mage created the Radioactive, Crystal, Laser, Bunny, Star, Snake, Bee, Lizard, Female Owl, Armadillo and Genocide amulets. They weren't used yet. Meanwhile in Japan, the Ninja amulet was made and imported to China. Then the Lightning amulet was made by Zeus in Ancient Greece and imported to China. Then the Male Owl, Cat and Scarlet amulet were made in Medieval Europe and imported to China. And finally the Turtle amulet was made by Native Americans but was missind until the Chinese founded it. During that time, Light and Dark lived peacefully until my sister, Rankora wanted the world to be filled with darkness.

Devan: Rankora is your sister?

Ivy: Yes, back to the story, it was in the Ming Dynasty when darkness is about to rise. A group of teenagers that time were given these amulets to save China. It goes on to Ancient Vietnam, Ancient Japan, Imperial Korea, Native America, WW1, WW2, Korean War, Vietnam War and this day. The most recent is in 2010 in Korea when a couple wielded the Radioactive and Crystal amulet.

Zoe: I guess it's that KDRAMA series that mum always watch.

Ivy: Yeah but it's based on a true story, it lasted until 2017 when a North Korean spy noticed that the Radioactive amulet was used to make Nuclear weapons.

Raphael: I've heard of it, an American soldier back in WW2 used the Radioactive Amulet to make the atomic bomb to bomb Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

Ivy: Yeah and North Korea is obsessed with Nuclear Weapons and knew that the Radioactive Amulet will make it stronger to nuke America, Japan, South Korea and possibly Australia.

Michael, Calum, Wengie, Luke, Shawn, Raphael, Yuto, Aidan, Zoe and Thaiyo: (gasps)

Gun: Seriously why did you guys gasp?

Ivy: That's when in 2017, the couple had to return it to me. Then in the same year in December, all of you wielded it.

End of flashback.

Yuto: So are there any more stories? There are alot of legends talking about these amulets.

Luke: Yeah, like how the Israelites believe that God made these amulets for his prophets.

Ivy: If you want to learn more, then you have to go to a history museum.

Sheryl: Where?

Ivy: Taiwan.

Devan: Taiwan?

Raphael: You mean the Republic of China?

Ivy: Yes, you have to go to a history museum in Taipei in Taiwan. You need to ask your parents if you could come.

Tanya: I literally have no dad.

Thaiyo: Where is he?

Tanya: The Indian Ocean.

Zoe: How can we get there?

Ivy: You need to stop in Queensland then in The Philippines and then you can go to Taipei.

Gun: That's like too much stopovers and Tanya is afraid of airplanes. And we have 2 Cystic Fibrosis patients.

Thaiyo: Gun, I can make it to China without getting sick. Plus Cystic Fibrosis is rare in China.

Yuto: We're going to Taiwan not Mainland China.

Thaiyo: Oh.

Ivy: So you guys go home and ask your parents if you could go to Taiwan.

Michael: We will Ivy, let's go guys.

They went home and it was dinner time. Michael asks his mum and dad if he along with his family could go to Taipei, Taiwan.

Michael: Mum, dad, can we go to Taipei in Taiwan.

Kayla: Michael, the last time we travelled, there was an evilized villain, like what happened in Christchurch.

Calum: We should've been to Auckland.

Crystal: Can we go, please? We want to learn more about our amulets.

Kayla: Oh there is another hidden museum in Taipei, well maybe we can as long we are going together.

Luke: Didn't Ivy say that we have to stop at Queensland and then The Philippines and then we can go to Taiwan?

Kayla: Yup, for now, I will book tickets in the computer, you guys do your stuff.

The kids went up to their room while Kayla and Ashton stays in the living room to book tickets. Meanwhile in the kids' room, they were all gathered talking about their next trip to Taiwan.

Michael: So guys, if there is any evilized villain, do you know what to do?

Wengie: Transform?

Calum: I think that kind of an answer, because I've heard that Taipei has alot of superheroes which uses any amulet.

Zoe: So do you think it's safe to transform in that area? Cuz we're used to being heroes in Sydney and hiding somewhere.

Calum: I dunno.

Wengie: Then if there are any evilized villains, we have to defeat them but I think there are alot because Taipei has tons of heroes.

Michael: For now, we have to prepare for our trip, and not think about doubts. Or what would happen if Thaiyo and Devan get sick.

Tanya: If they get sick then what happens?

Michael: We won't be able to go to Taiwan of course.

Zoe: Guys, let's just go to bed okay, tomorrow we'll pack up.

Devan: Okay, good night.

Collins: Devan, your BiPAP.

Devan: Right.

Collins helped put Devan on BiPAP while Thaiyo puts on his Nasal Cannula.

Calum: Goodnight.

Everyone went to bed to prepare for the next day and then the day after, they'll go to Taiwan.
