A-Cycle begins.

  I woke up and got ready in my uniform and same shoes as yesterday. Today starts my A-cycle. I'm so happy. I walk out the door and get on my way. While walking I run into Zane. He said he had left earlier than the other. I responded with saying that makes sense. We walk to school and get through our day
Time skip
I got home two minutes late and walk inside. As soon as I get in I'm greeted by my father with a whip in his hand smirking. He doesn't say anything as he grabs my arm and drags me to the basement. "You useless BITCH! Why are you here late?!! Huh!!!" He shouts hitting me with the whip. Right across the face. My cheek is slashed and bleeding and he's kicking me to a pulp. "Because... I walk.....slow!" I scream out of breath. "DONT BACK TALK ME YOU SLUT!!!!!" He screams punching and kicking me anywhere he can.. he finally stops and lets me go to my room. I look in the mirror to see I have two bruises on my neck and a giant black bruise on my stomach. I have a black eye and a slash on my cheek, but I don't feel the pain. I go to bed easily. Goodnight world.
*next morning* I wake up and get ready for school (You don't have to wear uniforms anymore) I look at my stitched cheek and black eye in the mirror. I cover it a little so it's not bad but not good and head out the door in my new boots

I start walking and run into the group. "LACEY WHAT HAPPENED!?!?" They scream. "Uh nothing I fell on my face and cut my cheek open. It's fine." They look fine then Garroth looks at my stomach (the shirt in the pics a crop too) "then what about your stomach Lacey?!?"  He says in surprise. "Uh um I- wel-  nothing....?" I say more as a question. "That doesn't look like nothing, did someone hurt you Lacey?" Katelyn asks. You look away sadly, "no I'm" I was interrupted by Laurence " your not fine Lacey! What happened? Tell us please." Laurence pleads. I give in slightly "fine I got the crap beat outa me by someone," I say, "and who is that someone?" Vylad asks.  "I can't say" I speak sadly. " ok but we will find out. And today we are walking you home so this doesn't happen again." Travis says (Travis and Dante are with them)  my eyes widen "NO! You can't..." I say trailing off. "Why not Lacey?" Dante asks. "Listen only one out of all 10 of you know. Have them tell you." I say. They all stare at Zane. I'm in shock. How'd they know?!?!?. "Are you guys psychic or something?!?!? How the hell did you know who I told?!?" I ask surprised. "We all saw you two hanging out all day, then the shadow fight as people are calling it. " Aphmau says "ok" I grab Zane's arm "COME ONE RUN ZANE!" I scream as he starts to run. The group chases us. We get to school and run to homeroom.
Middle of day. Your in art with all of the gang.
I was at my giant table with the gang in art when the teacher gets a call on her teacher phone thing. "Alright. Lacey, it's about your father." She says, the group looks at me as I'm wide eyed with tears starting to form. "What- what do you mean??" I ask shakily. By now the whole room is watching. " it's about what he did, you need to go the office. You can bring your friends with you." She says calmly. "Of course, thanks come on guys." I say and the whole gang stands and we file out. I'm leading the group ask they keep asking what's happening. "Be quiet guys I'm thinking." We get to the office to see two police officers, one male one female, "yes officers, what is this about." I say scaredly. The group grab onto a part of me. All the guys except Zane have their hands on my shoulders. The girls have hold of my arms, and Zane has him arm around my waist. "Well your father has been arrested for abuse of two children, he is currently in custody and will serve 2 life sentences in prison. Yesterday we got a report from your neighbors, said they heard a girls scream and then someone screaming the words bitch, slut, and other verbally abusive words. Earlier today we broke down the door and found your father laughing while watching a video. Would you like to know what was on the screen?" The female cop asks. I nod scared go talk. "But wait, you said to kids. As of three years ago I'm an only child. Right?" I ask "well first I will tell you what was on the video. Your father was watching a video of him beating the life outa you with a whip and a bat, in your basement. That is where your stitches and bruises came from correct." the group stares at me in shock. " yes it is. Now why did it say two kids. I'm an only child. RIGHT?!?" I ask loudly. "We searched your house and found a locked door, we busted it open to find a boy who looks exactly like you. He was beat just as badly as you and he was chained to the wall. Lacey Violet, you have a twin brother." She says calmly. I gasp with tears in my eyes. "WHERE IS HE?!? What's his name?" I ask while starting to cry. "His name is Ace Leo Violet. Did you realize his initials are the same as yours just scrambled. Yours are LAV and his are ALV, anyway you and your brother  will be staying with a family we have picked out. They are in your grade as well. The Valkrums are taking you two in as of late." She Is finished. I look at her in shock. "So I am staying with one of my best friends and my new not new twin brother?" I ask, they nod. I turn around and move away from my friends. They look confused. "Travis thank you so much!!" I scream running and hugging him. "Travis. Guys/everyone. You heard all that right? Me and my twin brother are staying with Travis' family"
I say. They all look at him in shock. I smile while still crying. The male officer taps my shoulder. "Would you and your friends like to go meet your brother. We have filled him in on everything. He, was sent to night school and is on your intelligence level. Your dad went through hell to keep you apart." He says. I boil with excitement. I turn to the gang. "So guys how about we got meet my brother and Travis' other new housemate? Huh?" I ask, they all smile. "Let's go!" They say. We follow the officers in Garroth and Laurence's vans. We arrive at a hospital and my happy mood drops. We get out and I ask the officers "what are we doing here. Where's my brother?" I ask scared. "Well sadly your brother had to get stitches on his arm and his cheek" the female cop says."oh ok well let's go in then" I say worried. We walk in and go to the recovery room and see a boy with black hair and purple eyes like mine sitting in one of the chairs. He looks up and his eyes meet mine
