Chapter One

I look at my mother and shake my head amused. "Mom" I call softly making her head turn to me, "I'll be fine~" I chuckle the last part as she sighs historically. She turns to finish packing my bag and making sure that I had all my supplies. She sighs a bit before turning to me to give me my packed bookbag.

"Sweetie I'm just scared... this is your first day you know, and I only-" she begins to ramble off about things she know I can handle.

I cut her off politely with a kiss to the cheek. "Mom I know how to handle myself." I pause and give her a soft look, "Dont worry to much I dont want to many stretch Mark's on your skin now do I?" I pat her shoulder softly and turn to head to the door. "Besides -" I yell as I open the door, "I've been in this situation before it's not new!"

I wave her a good bye and close the door. The morning breeze blew through my gray hair making me smile. "If I survived this far without any help then i'm sure i can do it." I whisper to myself as I start down the hiking trail to my new school. I look around the small narrow road in hopes to see a small hare hopping around. To my disappointment I don't. I continue to walk down the track and something rustles in the bushes.

I look over just in time to see a deer grazing happily in a nearby meadow. I smile softly as I pass it. It looks at me a little startled when I step on a branch before it starts to graze again not worried. I continue down the road not wanting to bother the deer anymore.

I look at the school with wide eyes and breathe a held in breath. The school was big no doubt but the size wasn't the thing that startled me....

I watched as two boys wrestles in the mud their eyes glowing a bright orange. Super strength. I look to the right to see someone lifting something with a purple tint to it. I look at her eyes and they were purple. Telekinesis. I inhale hard and continue to walk through the school crowd making sure to not bump into no one. I make it to the entrance without managing to puke in front of everyone. I look at the tall building before going into the doors.

I freeze as I was hit with a gust of wind and fall backwards. I get back up holding my pounding head. Welp there goes for thinking this place has manners. I wonder where the headmaster is? I look around and notice some boys with the lightest blue in their eyes that I've ever seen. Air benders. I side step their next attack and walk in between the crowd for cover. I dig in my pocket and look at my locker number. 3219 shouldn't be that far since I'm already in the 3200s. I sigh. I still dont understand why they have the lockers this way. I begin to walk down the hallway occasionally looking at the locker numbers.

Heat passes me as I missed the fireball missile. I freeze and breathe slowly to regain my poster. "Sorry! We didn't mean to almost hit ya!" I heard I boy yell before I put a thumbs up able to move again. Fire benders or rather hot heads to say the least. No wonder mom was so worried about me. After much struggling I find my locker drenched in water. I sigh heavily and take a towel out my bookbag and wipe the water off.

Water benders. I dont like them much but they probably have the coolest power to say the least. I open my locker and put my extra supplies in it. Just as I close it I feel somthing crawl slowly onto my leg. I look down and and step back as a vine grew around me. Hmm. Earth benders? I'm not very sure about them but they control the earth or rather anything dealing with it like plants,dirt, rocks,etc. I sigh and close my locker all
the way before walking off.

I carefully and stiffly walk up to a person with white eyes. I'm guessing this has to be a person with with flying powers. I look up at him and gulp down my nerves. "Exuse me may I ask you-" he takes off at full speed into the air making me sigh helplessly. I look for another person and walk up to them the exact same way. I look up at her and freeze when I see her glowing eyes. Dark type like the pokemon umbreon. They give me the creeps with their pitch black eyes.

I open mouth to only shut it as she gives me a death stare. "Sorry but I dont talk to low lives such as you." Her voice was dark and menacing, "now get out of my face before I have to make you literally go to hell and back." I nod obediently and take off running full tilt in a different direction. This is going to be harder than I thought.
