______

Seeing Todoroki's hurt expression, made Bakugou guilty to no end! A side of him didn't want to be near Todoroki, but the other...it nearly made him barf just thinking about it...

Bakugou took a deep breathe and muttered a few words which caught Todoroki's attention, "What?" He asked, not quite catching what Bakugou had just said, "I said, you can come along!" Bakugou repeated much more louder this time but with a low grumble while low-key squirming around his position.

Todoroki's face brightened up at Bakugou's response and nodded his head like an obedient puppy, Bakugou didn't want to look at Todoroki's happy face any longer so he looked away but he probably was also aware of the fact that his face was turning more and more red and didn't want Todoroki to see him like that.

It didn't help that Todoroki's attire made him look much more charming, a simple white shirt that somehow looked elegant on Todoroki, black slim jeans that showed off Todoroki's manly and firm legs as well as black boots that just tied the outfit all together.

Never in a million years would Bakugou ever admit that Todoroki looks good! Unlike Todoroki who wouldn't mind saying whatever's on his mind, like how cute Bakugou looked on his outfit today;

Bakugou wore a warm cuddly looking white hoodie that looked big on him making him appear much more small than he really is, dark blue jeans that also showed off Bakugou's nice leg form and white tennis shoes, he looked casual and cute which Todoroki finds rare and so he wanted to cherish his time with Bakugou.

Probably the only reason why Todoroki isn't sharing his thoughts to Bakugou is because he knew that if he shared what was on his mind, Bakugou would probably make him leave so he refrained from sharing his thoughts and obediently followed Bakugou inside the spacious and book-filled library.

_______

"So what was the book that your father told you to pick up?" Todoroki asked Bakugou who was walking next to him, "Something called 'Birds...with a feather??? I forgot, but It's something along those lines..." Bakugou answered, unsure of his answer and looking around the bookshelves to see if he'll spot the book he was looking for.

Todoroki raised a brow at the title of the book, "Don't you mean 'Birds of a feather'?" Todoroki replied, Bakugou's face turned red, embarrassed that Todoroki was actually right, "Yeah Yeah, of course a nerd like you would know that book..." Bakuguo muttered angrily to himself, not wanting to acknowledge he's wrong.

But Todoroki being Todoroki, didn't take any offense to that and ignored Bakugou's comment, "It's my mother's favorite book, she always read it when she was at the hospital." Todoroki said, his goal to start a conversation, "Your mom? Why would she be at a hospital? She seemed rather healthy to me." Bakugou asked, genuinely curious, "She was at a psychiatric ward." Todoroki answered plainly but that was not the answer that Bakugou was expecting.

Bakugou didn't know what to say, he never imagined Todoroki's mom would be at a psychiatric ward and not to mention that his mom is friends with Todoroki's mom, but she seemed genuinely nice and kind, not someone who should be at a psychiatric ward. Thinking about it, it must've been tough for Todoroki to have his mom somewhere else when he was a kid, it must've scarred him greatly,

Though Bakugou is always seen arguing with his mom, he never once hated her and always loved her with all his heart and could never bare to see his mother hurt, now knowing a fragment of Todoroki's path, Bakugou understood him much more better now...
