Danger Mouse disappears

The museum

Danger Mouse and Penfold are on their way to a abandoned museum that nobody visits anymore because it wasn't very interesting and they didn't have many exhibitions on so they shut down the museum for good.
When they arrived, the museum wasn't in a good condition. "Here's the plan! We will go inside and find the suspicious items quickly and get back out before it starts to collapse because the museum isn't that stable anymore." Penfold was unsure because he was worried that parts of the museum might fall on top of them. "Maybe I should stay here." Said Penfold shaking. "Don't worry Penfold, it won't take long and the Professor has given us hard hats just incase!"
So they headed inside and they started looking for the items that Bardon has hidden. "The items could be anywhere, we need to keep our eyes open." Then they saw something up ahead. "Oh crumbs Chief!That looks like a shrink ray!" Said Penfold pointing up ahead. "You're right Penfold!" So Danger Mouse goes to get it but as he is getting it, he sees a portal behind a painting. "I wonder what's inside? Penfold you stay here and I will go inside." A few minutes later Danger Mouse was still in the portal and not coming out!
The museum started to collapse to Penfold ran out and he wasn't hurt, the portal inside was crushed to pieces. "Oh no! Chief!"Penfold cried and cried.
Penfold got back in the Danger Car and took off his hard hat. "Poor Chief, I hope he's ok!" Suddenly Colonel K called. "Hello Penfold, where's Danger Mouse?" Penfold sobbed and said. "He went into a portal to see if he could find anything that Bardon had hidden but he disappeared inside! I got the shrink ray but I am very worried about Chief!" Penfold cried so hard his eyes turned red. "Oh no! Don't worry Penfold I will try and contact Danger Mouse and find out if he is ok and where he is!" Penfold signed. "Thanks Colonel, I am heading back to HQ now." Penfold started the engine and flew back to HQ
