"Oh.. That's great.. The girl that you liked is really lucky to be admired by someone like you, Jisung.." Mrs. Zhong replied awkwardly. She also noticed that his son is quite shocked. She thought that they have feelings for each other.

"Thank you, Mrs. Zhong.." Jisung said awkwardly too. He thought that he dodged the question really well, but what he didn't know is that someone is hurting from what he said.

And that someone is Chenle. Even though the food is good, he suddenly lost his appetite. He can't even swallow the remaining food on his mouth. He felt like the world has crashed on him.

"Are you alright, Lele?" his grandma asked him. Chenle broke away from his daze and faked a smile. "I'm okay, Grandma.. I just felt suddenly full.. This is such a delicious dinner, thanks Mom!"

"I'm glad that you've liked it!" Seohyun smiled at his son.

After finishing the dinner, they went to the living room to continue their chatting over a cup of tea and a slice of chocolate cake. However, Chenle is silent the whole time and just nods when he is spoken to.

It was almost 10:00PM when they finished their small talks and conversations. "It's late already.. Are you sure you don't want to spend the night?" Seohyun asked.

Chenle shakes his head. "We still have work tomorrow, Mom.. Plus, Jisung is a great driver, so no worries on that.." Seohyun hugged the two boys and smiled. "Let's have dinner again soon, 'kay?"

Both boys nodded. "Say goodbye to grandma for me.." Chenle waved his hand. "Me too!" Jisung added. They entered the car and quickly drove away.

While on the road, Jisung noticed that Chenle is really silent and just looks at the window. He is worried because it's not his typical behavior.

Chenle is a loud person, but in a positive way.

Jisung cleared his throat. "Are you really okay, Lele? It looks like you're not in a mood.." The smaller looks at him and gave him a fake smile. "I'm really fine, Jisung.. Just tired.."

Jisung can tell that he is lying and just neglect it, hoping that he can find all the answers from Chenle himself.

"By the way, Jisung, can you drop me off to Renjun hyung's house?" Jisung looks at him, puzzled. "Sure thing.. Why?" "I just need to talk to him, that's all.." Earlier, Chenle texted Renjun if he can come over, and the older agreed.

After a few minutes, they arrived in front of Renjun's house. The smaller quickly went out from the car and smiles at Jisung. "Thanks for the ride, Jisung.." "Shall I wait for you?" the taller asked.

"No need.. I'll just take a cab when going home.." "Are you sure?" Jisung asked worriedly. "Yes, Jisung.. I'll give you call if I can't get one.." Jisung sighed. "Okay Lele.. Promise me that.." Then Jisung left.

Renjun opened the door and signalled Chenle to enter. After settling in, he immediately hugs Renjun and starts to cry.

He told everything, he explained what he felt, and Renjun couldn't believed that Jisung has a special someone. "I just need to distance myself from him to forget my feelings.." Renjun sighed. "That's not a good move, Chenle.. Don't waste your friendship for this.."

Chenle softly sobbed on his lap. Renjun plays his hair to calm the boy down. "I hate to say this Chenle, but I hope that you can find that someone you can love and will love you back as much as your love.."

And with that words, Chenle fell asleep on his lap, exhausted due to crying so much. "Looks like my ship is sinking.." Renjun whispered while looking at the smaller.
