Sherlock's Point of View

"Clara what does she mean by Daddy?" I asked as I carried on staring at Clara, I couldn't help but freak out a little right at this moment in time.

"It's exactly as it sounds Sherlock, stop being so dum." Mycroft stated with a little hint of jealousy in his voice.

"Mycroft you can stay out of this, this is between me and Clara." I stated to him as I looked down at Phoebe.

"It's true Sherlock, Phoebe is your daughter and Mycroft's niece. She's five years old." Clara whispered to me but never once looked at me as if she was scared of what I was going to do. I looked once more at Clara and Mycroft before I knelt down in front of Phoebe and looked her in the eyes. She had my black curly hair and Clara's bright blue eyes, I could see more of Clara inside of her then that of me.

"Hello Phoebe Elizabeth Holmes, I'm your daddy Sherlock Holmes. " As I finished my words she looked at me then hugged me, her small arms wrapping around my neck and her face snuggling in under my chin.

"I know daddy mummy is always talking about you. I remember about two years ago she started crying and she did every year after that, always on the day you went away forever." I looked up at Clara and saw the tears flooding down her face, so I picked up Phoebe in my arms and walked over towards Clara. I placed my arm around Clara and hugged her towards me so that I was hugging the two most important people in my life.

"I'm always going to be here Clara, never will I leave you again." I whispered in her ear as I looked at Mycroft to see jealousy written all over his face. I pulled away from Clara and instantly Phoebe started to move around in my arms, so I bent down and let her run off somewhere.

"Phoebe don't run off like that." Clara shouted but Phoebe just ignored her and ran up the stairs, moments later there was the sound of a door banging shut. "I don't know where she gets it from." Clara whispered under her breathe, I couldn't help but chuckle at her words.

"You are kidding right?" I asked but she looked at me blankly, like I had asked a stupid question.

"She does this all the time, I think she gets it from you." She stated while she smirked at me and placed her hands on her hips, what does she mean from me?

"No more like you, you were never able to follower orders all too well." She gasped at me before turning towards were Mycroft was standing, but he had walked off just like Phoebe.

"Guess it's just us now." Clara whispered out loud talking to herself more than to me, but we needed to talk about a lot.

"Guess it is. We have a lot to talk about." I stated as I walked into the living room and sat down on the sofa. Clara followed shortly behind me, sitting down right next to me but not looking at me.

"What do you want to know first?" She asked quietly; I knew this was hard for the two of us, but we needed to get this over and done with before anything else.

"How about . . . were you ever going to tell me why you were really in Coalville?" As I spoke my voice broke and I couldn't look at her.

"I don't actually know, I was trying to figure that out before the whole Mycroft coming to visit thing. I was going to tell you in my own time that I knew Mycroft and that we did have a relationship of sorts . . ." I whinced at her words but didn't say anything as she carried on, "but I never thought about the whole reason for me being in Coalville. I was affraid that I was going to lose you." She whispered the last part, I could hear the pain in her voice as she spoke.
