taehyung just looked at his reflection at the mirror, his hands gripping on the sink while he's trying to held himself from choking sobs from those memories.

he then washed his face with water to erase the memories on his mind for the mean time, he just wanted to forget those to held himself from hurting.

he badly misses those days. he badly misses exchanging sweet and comfort words to him, he badly misses how he's comfortable in his arms.

taehyung sighed to himself before opening the bathroom's door only to reveal jimin who just closed the door of his bedroom.

"did jungkook hurt you?" jimin attended him and asked him worriedly.

taehyung really appreciates the company that everyone was giving him in this house specially jin and jimin's but he just wanted to be alone for a while right now. just for now, but he couldn't risk that only to see jimin hurting.

taehyung just smiled at him and stayed silent. it just feels unusual that jungkook could hurt him now but maybe he'll get use to it.

"did he hurt you?" jimin asked again when he didn't receive any response from taehyung.

"no, i'm okay jimin." taehyung smiled trying to assure him.

"no lies, please." jimin pleaded.

taehyung bit his lip and nodded.

"but he was holding your wrist earlier and i could see that—"

"relax, jiminie. you know h-he couldn't hurt me..."

jimin just sighed and smiled at taehyung.

"thank God,"

they stayed silent but jimin tried to open up a topic.

"anyway tae, i know you needed a phone to contact everyone of us but jungkook doesn't really want me to buy you one. and i don't even know why," jimin said apologetically.

taehyung just smiled at him.

"it's okay, i am trying to understand him jimin even though i have a life to live outside from this house. i am still studying as a nurse student and i still have to pay for my bills. i really wanted to go home, a–and..." taehyung stopped himself from talking then turned his gaze into something no particular.

jimin noticed this and squeezed the younger's hands while giving him a reassuring smile.

"don't worry tae, i am always here for you. for the both of you, you know i've been a witness of everything that happened to you, well... except for your reason,"

taehyung felt guilt engulfed him as he saw jimin's devastated eyes. he badly wanted to tell anyone specially jungkook, but he's scared... someone might be watching him from a far even though it's already past three years.

he badly wanted to tell those reasons to jungkook and assure him that he still loves him. but something's stopping him... and he wouldn't risk his life and jungkook's for this.

after a moment of silence they continued talking, their topics changes every minute because jimin can handle well the mood and can lighten up his mood.
