I could survive the night, it wasn't that hard. I think you must be asking where I am and who the hell I am. Well, the first one I can not answer, I have no idea where i am exactly, and don't know how I got here. Let's begin from the start...
My name is Jog Manson, I used to work in a retail store, lived in an apartment on downtown, used the public transport. I was basically nobody in particular, just some other guy in society. I could talk more about how used to be my life, but what's the point of that. I remember that I went to sleep a Thursday..maybe a Wednesday. No, I'm sure was a Thursday because had long shift Tuesdays and Thursdays. Got a frozen lasagna as meal before start watching some Netflix. After half an hour picking a movie I could started and fell sleep on the couch. Then I dreamt, was swimming in nowhere, or at least that's how it looked like at first.
Then the moon suddenly started to shine, my eyes hurt a little...and then I could saw that I wasn't nowhere but the ocean, a real calm ocean. Was really beautiful, the moonshine illuminated as far as I could see. After that moment of calm I felt terrified, there was just water around me, the vast ocean and the moonshine with me in the middle. The more terrified, the more the ocean started to move, and more terrified I was. At first a little ripples, then small waves, at the end the waves were so huge I couldn't see the sky before getting splashed.
I wish that were the end of the dream, but there's more. Even when I could managed quite find the waves, I started to feel heavier and heavier, there I realized that it wasn't me who was heavier, but that something was dragging me into the water. I struggle the pull until my head was underwater, then a little ache in my chest started, then become a pain, then it burned. Was my lungs that weren't use to have water instead of air. I weren't available to breath. I weren't available to swim to the surface. I weren't available to accept that I was going to die.
Abruptly I woke up in the sand, in the island, looked around while still seated on the sand. I was intrigued by the fact that I wasn't on my couch but, at the same time, I was glad that my dead was just a dream and I was still alive, so glad...
...Oh, I wish I had died!!
