Decided to put more of a semi-lineless lineart kind of style for colouring uwu

Old: 18 May 2019 Redrawn: 13 June 2019 --- can i fucking say i hate the first version so much- i only liked the colouring tbh lmao
Lemme criticize my art for a moment- (all on the first picture)
1) The body shape. God it looks like he inflated or some kind of that weird ass fetish that's happening on DeviantArt idk. The pocket is way waayyy too big and the hood folds? god no. Also the torso is heccing short jeebus.
2) Shading (and colouring). Okay can I say that I see no shading at all- or maybe I've just given up on it but c m o n it looks so fucking plain ew. I didn't use any colour references for this so I just assumed the colour palette for him. First, the colour of the hoodie is way too off because it's much more lighter than the original version. Second, skin colour. Also too light for the tanned skin tone. I'm pretty much fine with the hair since there's not much difference.
3) Hair. Oh my god I don't like this- I've changed my style of drawing his hair entirely because I thought that sticking to the original was uh way too stiff for my style? I don't know but d a m n that's one thicc hair gel ya got there.
4) Facial features. ahAHA P F T WHAT IS THIS--?? Okay I gotta be honest, he looks like an old man goodness me. I don't even know anymore.
5) Lineart. It's- so m e s s y wtf eW NO HH. I just nope I can't lmao sorry. --- it's pretty clear I'm suffering on colouring and backgrounds so I'll work on that soon-
