Chapter #2: 'Introduction'

Emily's P.O.V

My name is Emily sky, I'm sixteen years old. I like mountaineering.

My parents died when I was eight, I've been living happily with my grandmother. My dream is to fulfill the unfinished wish of my parents someday...

To conquer the mountain, they failed to.

It should have been like this...

'The girl's blood is presented to you as dinner'

'Humble species'

'Kill her'

I woke up startled noticing I wasn't in my room 'Was it a dream?' I though as I felt a stabbing pain in my neck moving my hand from under the covers to rub my neck.

I looked around the room fear and horror attacking my body at once 'A place I've never seen... where on earth... Is this?' My eyes widened as the door opened the prince coming in "You finally wake up" I turned my head to look at him confused "How dare you sleep like a dog as a pet?" The prince said grinning 'This man...' I though "Pet? Who are you talking about?" I said moving the covers closed to me, the prince looked at me and smiled "Who else besides you?" He said sitting next to me our faces inches away 'It's not a dream!' He grabbed my hand and licked my wrist "Don't touch me!" I yelled taking my hand away from his hold.

I stood up from the bed and ran for the door "I want to go home! Open the door!" I yelled tears rolling down my cheeks 'I'm tired of this weird place'

A hand appeared on top of my shoulder, I looked at it surprised "Give it up..." I finally looked behind and saw the prince looking at me deeply "You are my blood pet. Your blood and your body all belong to me".

"You can't escape". He said pinning me to the door.

"Liam. This is your master's name" He said grinning at me.

"Remember it."

**Time skip a few hours later**

I opened the door a little looking around to see if there was anyone in the halls, 'Now...' I made a run for it hiding behind another wall to see if there was anyone there 'There seems to be no one else...' I ran again but was stopped by a girl with brown hair, she seemed like a maid... "Lady, where are you going?" she said smiling at me "Your highness has told us that a pet can't go anywhere" She said grabbing my wrist pulling me back to my room "Let me go!" I yelled at the maid "I want to go home! Let me out!!" She looked at me with a bored look.

She shut the door behind her still holding my wrist 'This woman is strong! Can't break free'.

"Shut up!" She said pushing me, so I fell to the floor, he eyes were glowing pink and she looked horrifying "You're indeed an ungrateful lowly species." She said walking to me looking down "If your highness had not deigned to accept you, you would have been drained of blood." I looked up shock filling my face as my eyes widened.

She was standing there a hand on her waist 'She's a vampire' I though and she smiled showing me her white fangs "Help!" I yelled as loud as I could. I felt a tall figure appear infront of me, I opened my eyes to see the man from earlier standing there looking at me "It's you..." I whispered.

He looked at me with a bored look. Wait. "You're a vampire too..." I said with my shaking voice I looked around to see the curtain's closed. I remember my grandma telling me stories of vampires, she once told me they were hurt by light and that they were scared of the crossed too.

I opened the curtain's and a beautiful view of buildings appeared, it looked just like my world... 'How can there be modern skyscrapers in the vampire word??'

"What surprises you?" The prince said from behind me 'Why is the vampire not afraid of the light?' 'Then what about the cross?' I pointed the cross at him, but he didn't move a budge "Don't... stay where you are!" I yelled at him my eyes closed from fear 'Cross. Please. Let these terrible vampires disappear.'

"What are you doing with this infront of me? You think I'm afraid of this stuff?" He said pocking the cross "Eh..." I mumbled.

"If I had been afraid of It" He said closing the space between us our faces inches away "I wouldn't let you have it..." He finished 'How come...' I though as he took the cross with me still holding it, his next action took me by surprise, he kissed the cross?

"Your rebellion is really different from the others." He said looking at the cross closely. 'No... even the cross doesn't work?' He looked up at my amused face and grinned. He loosened his grip on me and said, "You're too skinny." I looked down at myself and my face filled with worry. "I don't like a skinny pet..." He finished grabbing my chin, I closed my eyes with fear.

"Take her to the kitchen" He ordered and turned around leaving the room.

"The dishes are ready miss" The maid said walking over to me with a tray on her hand bowing to me. She placed a few dishes infront of me and I looked at them disgusted "Enjoy them miss pet these can help you replenish blood supply" she said pointing at each plate.

"Your highness won't be healthy until you've eaten well." She said placing her hands on her apron. 'What are these? Is it real food?' I though with a worried-disgusted look on my face. "The smell and look strange...something that looks hard and sticky...Disgusting..." I mumbled and she looked at me with a mad look on her face. "I-I don't want to eat them..." I said and she stood behind me.

She pushed my face into the plate, I tried to breath but it was pointless "A stupid blood pet like you Is not qualified to say no" She said still pushing my face into the plate.

"Hmm. Hem!" I mumbled 'It hurts' I though and it did actually hurt, I could barely open my eyes.

I was relieved when she let go of my head but pulled my hair pulling my head up "Help, Help..." I mumbled "It's your duty to provide good blood!" She said looking at me her eyes glowing purple "Eat them!" She yelled in my face taking a slice of the disgusting meat and pushing It down my throat 'Your kidding me I don't want to be a vampire's blood pet, I would rather...' I opened my eyes looking at the meat and taking small bytes at a time 'Starve to death' I finished.

I got to half the meat and decided I wanted to be stubborn, the maid kept pushing the meat in my lips, but I didn't open my mouth "No? Very well" She grabbed my hand and stood me up from my chair "What are you doing? Where are you taking me?" she looked back at me and said "Shut up"

The mad maid yanked me into a dark room "Get in there!" She said holding the metal door "Since you are not obedient. Stay here. Atleast until you learn" I looked back my eyes watering. She placed the 3 plates from earlier infront of me "When you finish eating. I'll think about letting you out. BANG! She threw the door closed and I was left there in the dark with only a dim light coming from the small baracated window.

'What's that sound? Someone is coming...' I lifted my head and opened my eyes; I had been sleeping since I finished my food earlier. I had a small headache and groaned from the pain 'Who? Whoever save me!' I though but my voice failed me.

A tall figure appeared in the door, then I realized, its prince Liam! He looked at my slumped figure on the floor "Being my food" He started as I opened my eyes recovering consciousness "You don't seem to like it huh?" He asked- well more like stated.

There was a small silence but was broken by him smiling, he extended a hand to grab me by my neck, he lined his teeth right on my shoulder to bite me 'I'm getting bitten! No! I feel weak...' "Ooooooo..." I whimpered "By the way clearly you are..." He started I could feel his breath on my neck "Enjoying yourself" He finished a smirk on his face 'Oh, I can't...take it' I passed out sliding down in his arms.

He looked at me confused and took me to the room sliding me in the bed.
