Love Conquers All (Good Always Win Sequel) (Complete)

Prologue

Queen Grace of Auradon stood frozen in fear and panick as she was surrounded by the press. All morning, she had one thing in mind and that was school. One of the reporters said, trying to get Grace to talk, "Only three days till the Royal Cotillion, Your Majesty." Another reporter said, "Are you and King Ben still together, Your Majesty?" Then, another reporter said, "Is Mal's mother still a lizard?" Another one said, "Are you still friends with the VK's?" Grace's heart began to race and her mind began to panic as her vision began to blur, feeling the need to go to the bathroom. She heard a very familiar voice say, "Ha-ha. Alright. Ok. Excuse me." It was Ben and he was trying to get through the crowd of reporters to get to his overwhelmed and panicked fiancée, who looked like she was about to pass out. He wrapped his arm around her waist and said to them, "We'll let you know when that particular situation changes."

The reporters began to throw more questions at the royal couple, causing Grace to panic even more. Then, the Fairy Godmother stood in front of the King and Queen and said to the reporters, "This is still a school so you're either skipping or trespassing." The reporters began to protest but began to leave after the Headmistress of Auradon Prep shushed them. Grace finally calmed down and said to Ben, "I'd never thought that they would leave me alone. Thank you for coming to my rescue." Ben just smiled at his fiancée and replied, wrapping his arm around her shoulders as they made their way into the school, "Hey, it's was no problem. You are my fiancée and it's my duty to protect you. Don't pay any attention to them." Grace chuckled and said, "That's a lot easier said than done, Ben. You make it sound so easy." Ben replied, taking Grace's hand, "No, no. You know, we haven't been on a date in awhile. We should get away from all this. Just me and you." Grace smiled and said to him, "I'll hold you up to that." The couple were greeted by Chad and Mal. Chad and Ben were chatting about the fencing team while Grace began to feel sick again. Feeling the need to throw up, Grace ran down the halls and towards the girls bathroom. Ben, Chad, and Mal raced after Grace, calling out her name, as students got out of their way. They reached the girls bathroom, which caused the boys to stop. Chad turned to his future brother-in-law and said to him, "I'm not going in. Are you going in?" Ben replied, "Someone has to go check on Grace. Alright, you go get the Fairy Godmother." Chad nodded then ran to go get the Headmistress. Ben turned to Mal and said to her, "Go in there and find out what's wrong with Grace." Mal nodded and went inside the girls bathroom.

Inside the girls bathroom, the girls that were in there stood around as they were concerned for the young Queen. Mal walked in and said to the girls, "Where is she?" All the girls pointed to the last stall and Mal said, "Thank you. Can you all leave us alone for a few minutes, please?" The girls nodded then left the bathroom. Mal knocked on the stall and said, "Gracie, you okay in there?" She heard the sound of throwing up so that must've answered her question. Grace stopped for a minute and said, panting, "Where's Ben?" Mal replied, "He's right outside. Chad went to go get the Fairy Godmother. Can I come in, Grace?" Grace opened the stall and Mal walked in. Mal said to Grace, "How long have you been like this, Gracie?" Grace replied, "Two weeks, Mal. I can't stop. What's wrong with me?" Mal shaked her head and said, "I don't know, Gracie. Maybe the Fairy Godmother knows." Just as she said that, the Fairy Godmother walked into the girls bathroom and said, "I heard that the Queen is in need of my help?" Mal turned around and said to the Headmistress, "She's in here, Fairy Godmother. She told me that she has been like this for a couple weeks." The Fairy Godmother nodded and replied, "Go get Ben and tell him to carry her to my office. I'll do better when we're in some peace and quiet."

Mal went to go get Ben and Ben came back in. He picked up Grace bridal style and they headed to the Fairy Godmother's office. Once they were there, Ben gently laid Grace down on the couch and stepped back so the Headmistress could see what was wrong. The Fairy Godmother turned to Mal and said to her, "Mal, I'm going to need you to stay with me." She turned to the boys and said to them, "As for you two, I'm going to have to ask you to step outside. Chad, call your parents and tell them what is going on." The two boys nodded and left the room. Grace turned her head and groaned, she felt the need to throw up again. The Fairy Godmother said, waving her wand over the Queen, "It is alright, Your Majesty. Just stay still." Once Grace was asleep, the Fairy Godmother began to see what was wrong. After collecting all of the information, the Fairy Godmother went to go talk to Ben. Chad stood up from his seat and said to the Headmistress, "How is she? Is she okay?" The Fairy Godmother nodded and replied, she then said to Ben, "She is perfectly fine, Chad. You may go see her. Although, Ben, I do need to talk to you, in private." Ben nodded and watched as Chad went to go check on Grace. Once Chad left, the Fairy Godmother turned to Ben and he said, "So, what's wrong with Grace? Why was she throwing up like that?" The Fairy Godmother replied, "Ben, have you ever heard of morning sickness?" Ben looked at the Fairy Godmother and said, "Yeah but that's only when girls are pregnant. What's that have to do with Grace?" The Fairy Godmother smiled and replied, "Well, Mal told me that Grace has been like this for two weeks. I've done some tests and they turned out that Grace is indeed pregnant."

Ben's heart dropped into his stomach, he was going to be a dad. He and Grace tried to be careful but he supposed that they went a little too far. On the bright side, he and Grace did talked about having kids but he didn't expect for it to come so soon. He said to the Fairy Godmother, "How long do you think she'll be able to hide the pregnancy before we get married?" The Fairy Godmother replied, "Well, if you two are getting married before your twentieth birthday, it should die down the suspicion. Until she gets five months pregnant, she will be okay until then. But, she has magic so her magic will hide the pregnancy." Ben nodded and thanked the Fairy Godmother then went to go check on Grace. Grace was sitting on the couch now with Mal and Chad sitting on either side of her. Grace looked up to see her fiancée and said to him, "I'm so sorry, Ben. I never meant for this to happen." Ben replied, kneeling down in front of her and took her hands into his, "Hey, there's no reason to be sorry about, Grace. Things like this happen all the time." Grace said to him, "But, what about our parents? The kingdom? Our friends? The press?" Chad wrapped his arm around Grace's shoulders and said to her, "Don't worry about them. I've already told Mom and Dad and they're ok but worried. When Ben tells his parents, he'll deal with the kingdom and the press." Mal nodded and said to her friend, rubbing her friend's arm, "And I'll deal with our friends. You don't have to worry about a thing. Just worry about your health and the baby." Grace smiled, she was thankful that she had friends who looked out for her.
