I wake up in the middle of the night and I hear a bang ring through the house I reach over to Katherine's side of the bed expecting to feel her warm body but I don't and when I open my eyes and I don't see her in the room.
I start to panic
Getting up I think to myself maybe she's just using the bathroom or checking on the baby so I Walk over to the bathroom door and I see that the light is on so I go and knocked on it.
" babe are you okay ? "
There was silence so I knock again
" baby are you good "
I then I hear crying so I opened the door and I find Katherine hunched over tears running down her face bloody from the waste down the look on her face I will never forget.
" what happened "
" I don't know what's wrong with me why is there so much blood ? " she says crying out in pain holding her stomach
I crunched down to her level trying to get her to calm down
" it's going to be okay I just need to go get my phone so I can call for help "
" don't leave me please "
" I'll be right back I promise "
I run to go get my phone and call 911
Katherine's POV
I had woke up with so much stomach pain it was like I was getting stabbed in the abdomen. I felt like I was gonna vomit so I went to the bathroom but now my pajama shorts are soaked in blood and I'm scared but eventually handro had found me and said he was gonna call 911.
I then see him come back to the bathroom talking to the operator telling them the address
" they're on the way okay " he says getting off the phone he then goes and grabs me
The cramps were hitting me so hard that I started going in and out of consciousness
" hey stay with me "
I feel light taps on my cheek
" baby keep your eyes open "
I was really struggling I can see handro holding me he was lightly shaking me to keep me awake
Then the paramedics walk in the room taking over but I eventually can't keep my eyes open
.....
I was trying to blink my vision clear and when I open my eyes I'm now laying in a hospital bed i lift my arm up and I see a IV running down it
" holyshit your awake "
I turn and see handro rushing over to me
" I'm gonna go get the doctor "
I watch him walk out the room and I start to remember what happened but I don't know why
" hello miss.Garcia I'm Dr.phang good to see you awake earlier this evening you arrived at the hospital unconscious bleeding profusely. we did a pelvic exam and ultrasound and you are indeed in the middle of a miscarriage at 7 weeks "
I blink a couple times speechless
" what ..... I didn't even know I was pregnant " I say closing my eyes I look at handro trying not to break down in this moment
" miscarriage is most common in the first trimester most women don't even know they're pregnant pregnant until 6 to 8 weeks "
" this is really hard for me to wrap my head around "
" I am sorry for your loss but we need you to be on bed rest for the next few weeks while your body heals you will most likely be discharged in the next few days "
My eyes start to water but I just look down at my hands
" I'll make sure she stays in bed " I hear Alejandro say
The doctor nods and walks out the room
" it's gonna be okay " he says kissing my forehead
" I didn't know I was pregnant and I was working myself way too hard I barely got any sleep because of work " I cry finally letting the tears fall
" hey stop blaming yourself you didn't know it's not your fault I'm not gonna sit here and let you put yourself down "
I feel his arms around me I shut my eyes tightly

I feel super fucked up about the hole situation I just want her to have peace she's been through enough but I guess it just wasn't the right time to have another child considering we just had a baby 4 months ago.
Kath is now asleep after all the crying she's done today I know she's hurt right now I saw multiple blogs talking about Katherine being in the hospital so I decided to update everyone I asked everybody on my socials to pray for her earlier
