I, a wizard, was sought by another

He,a good friend, to me like a brother

he'd let loose a monster, that he alone could not subdue

so to see to this problem, across continents we flew

we arrived at his tower, in itself it was pristine

when we walked inside, every surface was clean

step by step, we climbed the tall tower

and at the last door's opening, I sat in a cower

before me sat a force, undestroyable by me or any other

in brooding it sat, before me-his mother

I fled down the steps, shouting curses and spells

I abandoned my friend, to his deathly yells:

"You've left me to die, oh dear brother!"

"We're not of kin, i suggest - find another!"

I flew home and locked my tower

As I turned, her look could wilt a flower

before me sat, a monster of another

my enemy had sent, my dastardly mother
