New year, new school, new me

(Book is written in Aslynn's POV)

BOMP BOMP BOMP BOMP BOMP

I was woken up suddenly really early in the morning with the killing sound of my alarm clock. I was having a dream where I was eating bagels with Channing Tatum at a coffee shop. it was just getting really good too. I forced myself up and turned off my alarm. I turned on my hot shower and stepped inside. after I was done I brushed my hair out so that it wouldn't be snarled. I blow dried it downwards so that it would be straight but I had a piece of hair that stuck out and wouldn't go in so I curled my hair. I put on my dress and walked upstairs to get some breakfast.

I ate a bagel. it reminded me of my dream. I giggled. I found a note left on the counter it read:

Have fun at your new school

Went to work

Be back around 10 pm

There's money in the cookie jar

Get some pizza

Love you guys

Dad

I finished and grabbed my car keys.

"Bradley lets go. Do you need a ride or are you going to school late?"I knocked on my older brother's door.

"I will go when I feel better. i have a massive headache and my throat hurts."

He replied.

"There's pain reliever in the cupboard. Don't take too many today. Dad said we can get pizza tonight." I told him.

"Have fun on your first day at our new school. grab my homework for me if I don't text you." he said as I left.

On my way to school I listened to 5 seconds of summer.

Cause good girls are bad girls that haven't been caught.

One of my favorites. After listening to that, Voodoo doll, and Don't Stop I pulled into the schools parking lot. I walked to the office to see if they could help me find my classes. they told me to wait in the office for a while. they called someone. many people came in late. a few minutes later a guy walked around the corner. they called me over to him. I stood up and walked over relaxed.

"Aslynn this is Brodan, he will be showing you around because u have all your classes together." said the lady at the desk.

"Okay. thank you." I told her.

I grabbed my stuff and walked out of the office with Brodan.

"So I'm Brodan. what's your name again?"

"Aslynn." I replied.

"I like that name it's pretty. How old are you?"

"Seventeen. How bout you?"

"Seventeen."

"Can you drive?"

"Yea I drove to school today." I said.

"That's cool."

Brodan had blonde and red-ish hair. He was cute. he had muscles like as if he's been working out for the past four months. He wore a beanie and vans as a daily style. overall any girl would want him.

I on the other hand was not cool. I was a blonde. I wasn't your average skinny althetic girl. I was more of I play volleyball and that's it. I wasn't fat but I wasn't skinny I was in the middle. and I was okay with that. I loved wearing dresses and boots and during the summer I won't wear shoes at all. it's me and I'm okay with that.

"So this is your locker mine is right over there." he pointed across the hallway.

"Okay. So how does this combination thing work?" I asked.

"Okay so can I look at your combo and then show you?"

"Sure." I smiled.

"Okay so your gonna go to 13on the left, pass over your next number going right, then you will come up on 15 again and this time you put it in, then go left again and hit 45." He opened my locker.

"Thanks." I started to unzip my back. he shut my locker with a thud. "Wow thanks I really needed it closed."

"Yeah you have to put the combo in now."

I put it in.

I failed.

I tried again and it worked!

I started putting my stuff in my locker. "What do we have first hour?" I asked Brodan.

"Math."

I grabbed my math book and we walked to math class, even though we were late we didn't miss anything because it was the first day of school.

"Sorry we are late. This is Aslynn and she's new this year. Oh and I'm Brodan."

"Hello guys. I am Mrs. Lands. Why don't you guys sit in the back there at the empty table and we will pass out our textbooks."

When class was over I was kind of glad. I went back to my locker and I couldn't open it. I look over across the hallway and notice Brodan is shutting his locker. he walks this way and I quickly try it again but I fail.

"Need some help with that again?" he asks.

"Yes please."
