Samuel's POVSo, as you can guess, it didn't go well.
The two giants were basically on the edge of madness, growling and whimpering and hugging me. Oh and let's not forget the hundreds of 'mine's and 'ours's that came with the rumbles.
And just when I thought that that was it, there was a knock on the door.
"Ethan, Nathan, you better open this door right now." Came a stern female voice. I recognized it as Alexis' mom's voice.
The boys stopped growling and started whining instead.
"No, I don't care that you don't want to, you are going to open this door in the next ten seconds or so help me..."
Then came the muffled voice of one of her husbands.
"Honey, why don't we let them be? You know how it is with-"
"Xavier if you want to get back to sleep then you will let me deal with this and not intervene, alright?"
There was a bit of grumbling but it was swiftly cut off by Mrs. Slade's sharp 'what was that'.
I could faintly hear the big man say 'nothing' before there was a knock on the door again. It was sharper this time.
"Boys. Open the door. Now."
One of the giants holding me mumbled under his breath and pouted but got up and unlocked the door.
When he opened it, I could see Alexis' mom with her husbands right behind her, their arms wrapped around her much like the two giants were holding me before. It was eerily similar, almost like they were related or something.
"Why did you interrupt us, mom?"
Well, yeah, that's confirmed then.
"Because I know you which means that I also know that you have probably explained nothing of this to him, am I right?"
The two boys looked at each other before turning back to their parents.
"Well we were just getting there-"
"Oh sure, you were just getting there. Did you at least tell him your names before sweeping him off his feet?"
Both boys turned red in the face which made their mother rub the bridge of her nose along with a long sigh.
"Alright, come on, Samuel. We'll let these two have a talk with their fathers about what is right and what is wrong."
I tried to get up to go with her but I couldn't because the twin holding me didn't want to let go of me.
"Nathan, let go of him."
Woo, a name! Finally!
I looked up to identify which one he was and saw that he was the one with green eyes.
Alright.
Green eyes means Nathan.
Blue eyes? Still no idea.
Nathan whined and even pouted - can you believe that?! It was so adorable. But no, Mrs.Slade didn't budge. She just raised an eyebrow.
Nathan sighed and with a last tight hug and what I'm pretty sure was a kiss on my head, he let me get up.
I almost ran to Mrs.Slade but considering that her husbands were still standing behind her I was a bit cautious.
She took my hand and started walking out of the room. When passing her husbands she stopped for a moment.
"You better have a long talk with your sons."
We only got to take a few steps when one of her husbands spoke.
"Oh so when they've done something wrong they're suddenly only our sons?"
I looked back to see that there was a small smile playing on his lips and his eyes were shining with mirth which let me know that he was just teasing Mrs.Slade.
I think she knew it too because she only responded with an 'oh certainly' before leading me towards the stairs.
Angel's POV
***************
I pulled Samuel after me as we went down the stairs. Poor boy was so confused with everything and then of course there were those two sons of mine that didn't even think to take the time to explain anything to him!
'We were just getting there' my ass.
I left Xavier and Xander up there to speak with them but wasn't really hoping for much because they were wolves too and the way they had taken me in the beginning was even worse than what had gone down today.
They had probably forgotten that our mindlink was open as it usually was and that I could hear everything they said.
"Well, I know your mother wants us to scold you but we won't. We weren't any better when we met her."
Ethan sighed in relief and shook his head with a smile.
"Thanks dad. For a moment I really thought you were going to do something with that look on your face."
"Nah, there's nothing to really scold you for, we're wolves. Although do try to explain things to him before you take things further."
"I think he would appreciate it if you told him your names, too."
Nathan snorted in amusement.
"Yeah, we should probably do that. I didn't think the mate bond would be that strong though, wasn't quite prepared for it."
"It hits fairly strong, especially on the first encounter."
Ethan nodded along.
"Definitely noticed that. Vincent got a hold over me for a moment."
"Try to reign your wolves in, at least until he knows about them. Other than that, be with him as much as you possibly can, it will strengthen the bond. We'll try to keep your mother from interfering too much."
I blocked the link and realized that we had reached the end of the staircase.
"Unbelievable!"
Samuel flinched away from me at my sudden outburst.
"What?"
I looked at him and sighed, leading him to the living room.
I sat on a couch and pulled him to sit down next to me. Turning towards him I looked him in the eye.
"I think it's time somebody explained things to you."
