"So what do you plan to do?" Daniel asked Dahyun.
"Our batch will have two performers," Dahyun answered with a beam.
Daniel looked at the two guys behind her. Jimin just nodded at Daniel and smiled while Jungkook stared at him blankly. Daniel then looked back at Dahyun as he said, "Okay. The more, the merrier."
Daniel then ruffled her hair as he bid her goodbye and Jungkook furrowed his eyebrows while Jimin widened his eyes at the sight of an intimate gesture. Dahyun grinned back at Daniel before showing two thumbs up to Jungkook and Jimin which made them smile.

Jungkook could remember that it was on his sixth birthday when his father threw a grand party for him at their mansion. His parents had then requested for him to play Chopstick with the piano. At that time, he did not mind the people that surrounded him because after he played, he was sure that at least one would clap, and his mother's smiling face was all he needed.
His mother asked him then if he was nervous but Jungkook shook his head, "As long as you are here, I will be okay."
She beamed at him, "You are talented. People would love you."
But his mother was now long gone.
"Relax," Jimin told Jungkook backstage as the male kept pacing back and forth. Jimin then asked, "It's been a while, right? Since you last played in front of many people."
Jungkook nodded with a deep sigh, "I'm nervous."
"Don't worry dude," Jimin patted Jungkook's shoulder in a comforting manner, "You are talented. People would love you."
You are talented. People would love you.
The familiar words had once again brought comfort to Jungkook's heart. Both him and Jimin were cued to take their place in the stage. It didn't take long before the booming voice of the emcee echoed through the whole theater.
"And let's give a round of applause to Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook."
Suddenly, the curtains went up and the clapping audience replaced the noise from the mic. Jungkook was, at a short time, blinded by the lights but soon, his eyes adjusted and the sight of Dahyun welcomed him. She took a seat near the stage and the brightly colored banner she made for them made her stand out from the crowd. She waved at them and smiled the brightest.
"Jungkook, you will start," Jimin who was sitting on the piano, cued him.
Jungkook's daze was then halted as he raised his violin to his shoulder. He took a deep breath.
Music let me be immersed in you.
The collaboration between Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook then serenaded the whole crowd and all could only give them stares of admiration as they played The River Flows in You. When Jungkook opened his eyes, the people were cheering and clapping for them.
"We should bow," Jimin whispered to him as he stood beside Jungkook, "On the count of three."
Jungkook nodded, "One... Two... Three."
They bowed and the claps grew louder, but they know that someone's clap stood out from the rest of the audience.
Daniel quickly approached them backstage, "That was really good. The guests love it."
Jungkook smiled, "No. Thank you for this opportunity. Thank you for letting us play."
Daniel raised an eyebrow upon seeing his beam and he remarked, "So you could smile too."
