I look up from scribbling on my chemistry test to see Evie rummaging in her bag frantically. She must be looking for her mirror. But, she always keeps it safe. Where could it be? I cast her a worried glance.
"Looking for something? Thank you, Chad. It's gratifying to see someone still respects the honor code. It will be my recommendation that you are expelled." Mr. Deley scornfully tells Evie
"Mr. Deley, I..." Evie tries to defend herself
"But that isn't fair!" I try to put in
"Obviously she wasn't cheating since she didn't have that... Whatever it is." Doug adds
"It's called a magic mir..." Evie starts but i send her a look.
"You're not helping. Stop. Maybe she needed another pencil." He continues
"Please." I add
"Please." Evie repeats hopefully
"Well, If you can pass this test, I'll return your property and let the matter drop." Mr. Deley concedes.
Evie glares at Chad smug expression.
"Hey" I whisper and gesture to her test "good luck"
She mouths 'thank you' to me and Doug and we just smile before all returning to our tests with new determination.
-TIME-SKIP-
"Okay. Easy on the blush. I don't want to scare him away. Not that I could." Mal reprimands Evie pushing her hand away slightly.
"Please. My mum taught me how to apply blush before I could talk. Always use upward strokes." She tells her
"My mum was never really big on makeup tips. I never had a sister."
"I never cared when my mum tried to force makeup on me" I add quietly from the floor
"Well, now you have two." Evie declares gesturing to me and her "We're going to need all the family we can get If we don't pull this off. My mother's not a barrel of laughs when she doesn't get her way. Just ask Snow White." She rolls her eyes
"Are you afraid of her?" Mal softly queries
"Sometimes. Are you afraid of your mum?"
"I just really want her to be proud of me. She gets so angry with me when I disappoint her. And sh... yeah, she's my mum, so I know she loves me... In her own way."
"Our parents are just less obvious about i guess. They just want us to turn out like them... and sometimes... they are a little harsh about it" I put in to this chick-flick moment
"Your right" Mal smiles gently at me and we all sit for a second.
"Moving on. Come see." Evie states firmly to Mal, breaking the silence.
"Are we done?" She questions
"Yeah." I answer grinning, she looks amazing.
We lead her to the mirror in the corner.
"Oh." Her face lights up in awe
"I know." Evie smiles
"I look..."
"Say it."
"Not hideous."
"Not even close." I declare "He won't know what hit him."
We laugh together for a second before we hear a knock at the door.
"For the first time, I understand the difference between pretty and beautiful." Ben says in an awestuck tone making Mal laugh "I hope you like bikes."
He holds out a helmet. She takes it turning to give us both one last worried look before leaving. Evie and i smirk at each other before she slowly closes the door and i turn to go back to my book. But just before i get there i pause and spin back around.
"E... did you mean what you said earlier about... about us being sisters?" I ask tentatively
"Of course!" She smiles warmly at me "I mean i used to think you were just Dizzy's weird sister, but now i know you... you aren't so bad"
"You're pretty good yourself" I declare winking and we both burst out giggling.
-TIME-SKIP-
"Children, excuse me. Um, as you know, uh, this Sunday is family day here at Auradon Prep. And because your parents can't be here due to, uh, distance, we've arranged for a special treat." The Fairy Godmother tells us excitedly beaming as always.
She turns the screen on and Maleficent, Jafar, Cruella and the Evil Queen pop up!
"I don't see anything, nor do I hear." Maleficent declares, squinting at the screen suspiciously.
"Kids!" The Fairy Godmother gestures to us and we hesitantly walk over. I know my mum isn't there so i just stay at the back. I haven't seen her in years so why would see be there? I don't even want to see her. Even so a tiny part of me can't help but be disappointed. I was always a let down to her...
Faintly, as though from a distance i can hear the other parents bickering among themselves. Well, i'm not the only one with parent problems. It's pretty much a given for VKs.
"I'm so sorry." The Fairy Godmother says sympathetically. Obviously disappointed it didn't go as well as she hoped.
"Thanks for the special treat." Jay quietly tells her
"Of course." She replies sincerely
"M? What do you think our parents are gonna do to us. If we don't pull this off?" Evie asks with a tinge of fear.
"I think they will be quietly disappointed in us, but ultimately... Proud of us for doing our best."
"Really?" Carlos asks
"No, I think we are definitely goners."
"Yeah." Evie agrees and i nod along.
-TIME-SKIP-
"Okay, we all know what this looks like. So it'll be up on the dais under the beast's spell jar, and we'll be coming in from here. I will be in the very front. You all will be up in the balcony. Okay. Carlos?" Mal explains the plan as we crowd around the small table in the boys room.
"Okay, so I'll find our limo, so we can break the barrier, and, uh, get back on the island with the wand." He states
"Perfect. Evie?"
"Yeah?" She asks turning to Mal
"You will use this to take out the driver. Two sprays and he'll be out like a light."
"Okay."
We disband with Carlos and Jay moving away from the table. Mal sits down and Evie nudges me and nods towards what she is reading. A reverse love spell?
"M? You want to break Ben's love spell?" Evie questions puzzled
"Yeah. You know, for after." Evie and I sit on either side of her "I don't... I've just been thinking, you know, when the villains finally do invade Auradon, and begin to loot and kick everyone out of their castles and imprison their leaders and destroy all that is good and beautiful, Ben still being in love with me just seems a little extra... cruel." Mal softly explains. She shakes her head slightly and walks away.
"M?" Evie calls after her. We look at each other. Silently communicating our worries to each other.

Yeeettttttt another part finished whoo!!! Nearly finished the movie now. Then we can move on to the second one which will have more Harry and possibly more romance for Catherine.... if you guys want
