ar·a·besque/ˌerəˈbesk/ noun. a posture in which the body is supported on one leg, with the other leg extended horizontally backward.
Namjoon continued ," You are welcome to watch him when you come by. In my opinion the boy needs more friends." Namjoon's gaze saddened as he spoke.
Yoongi looked back at boy that danced alone in the studio. His eyes were sunken with exhaustion.
Namjoon continued, " We will talk further with Jimin, he actually is planned to meet with us tomorrow at the beginning of your shift."
Yoongi grinned down at the floor at this sudden news. He needed some friends too after all. He was already 26 years old and the only person he could really call a friend was the barista at a random coffee shop.
Namjoon nudged Yoongi's shoulder as if they'd been friends forever, it was honestly quite relieving ," Follow me, we can discuss your role here further."
Yoongi gripped his coffee in both his hands as he rushed after the younger. Namjoon turned a corner before pressing the button to call for the elevator.
Namjoon sighed to fill the sudden silence the two were met with while they waited for their lift. The younger finally spoke against the silence ," So about Jimin, he's very passionate about his dance."
Yoongi nodded slightly at the sudden attempt of conversation. The elevator suddenly dinged and Namjoon entered the elevator quickly only to realize they still had to make it to the tenth floor.
Yoongi entered after him and leaned into the corner keeping his head tilted to the floor. The younger glanced down at Yoongi's portfolio that sat in his tote ," You made some music already?"
Yoongi eyed his portfolio in his tote before looking back at Namjoon ," It merely helps with the stress." Yoongi trailed off as his eyes left the younger's questionings eyes. Maybe if he counted the tiles time could pass by quicker.
Namjoon looked at the older with an expression of pity. Dark circles hung from Yoongi's eyes like a bat hung in a cave. Yoongi's skin was practically eerie when it was matched against his dark circles. It wouldn't take anyone long to know that boy needed sun and sleep.
The two elevator doors opened and Namjoon took the upper hand and exited the elevator. Yoongi followed after Namjoon while his head still hung down at the floor.
Namjoon made it to his office and opened the door and gestured one hand to let Yoongi enter first ," You may go ahead." Yoongi entered the office and glanced around at its surroundings. It all felt so tidy and clean. It made him feel suffocated but he really wanted this job so of course he'd put up with it.
Yoongi sat down and set his tote to lay beside him. Namjoon entered the office and sat himself down across from Yoongi and looked at the older with a curious grin before pulling out a folder with papers inside.
Namjoon flipped through the sheets before questioning Yoongi ," You enjoy music?" Yoongi pondered an answer for a moment before responding ," Yes sir, you could say its how I speak." Namjoon was taken aback slightly by the formalities.
He announced with a slight chuckle ," Yoongi, you're my hyung, there is no need to be so formal!" Yoongi laughed awkwardly while he rubbed the back of his neck before responding ," My old college used to have an amazing piano that could be used by the students, I thank them for that much. My grandmother found peace with music and the arts so she owned a grand, it was beautiful."
Yoongi paused as his features softened before continuing ," Of course when I moved to my current apartment I didn't have such resources so I use online programs to help me compose music."
