"You filthy mudblood!! How dare you ruin this shirt! My father had it custom-made in Italy!!"
Draco Malfoy was seething. How dare this little, know-it-all, bookworm damage his silk dress shirt with diamond-coated, opalescent, dragon hide buttons. Of course, expensive as it was, he could always get a new one but this one was special. His father, Lucius Malfoy, had hand-picked it himself. It meant so much to Draco.
"Then maybe you should watch where you're going, you git." huffed Hermione Granger, aggravated. She was already late to her final class and was being held up by, none other than, Malfoy. He had her pinned by her arms, which hung over her head, her face mere inches from Draco's. If it hadn't been because of their extremely angry, pissed-off faces one would've thought he was going in for a passionate kiss, the way his body leaned into hers, his thighs in between her, separating her legs so that they dangled around his body.
It was just a preventive method Draco had taken. He knew this girl would fight back, if his memory of third year served him right. He needed his precious jewels too much as he was an only child. He looked at her with loathing in his eyes, matching her own distaste and hatred for him. She would have hexed him well into the next millennium if it hadn't been because her wand was out of reach, safely in Draco's back pocket. Another preemptive method, she assumed.
"Let me go, Malfoy." snarled Hermione.
"Now why would I do that, when I have you right where I want you, you little rodent." responded Draco, a sneer dressing his masculine features.
The chiming that signaled they were fifteen minutes late to class was heard through the silent and empty corridor and Hermione all but sighed at her predicament. Today, the day that she decided to take her time and actually prettify herself for a change, had backfired on her. She was enjoying herself taming her curls when she noticed the time; only two minutes left. While she ran to class to prevent being late she had stumbled into someone and spilled her ink onto the owner's pristine, white, button-up. Before she could mutter an apology to the owner, she found herself pinned against the grimy wall of the barely lit dungeon corridor, by none other than Draco Malfoy, her knee unable to connect to his groin in a painful way, her apology long lost.
"Argh!" Hermione cried out in frustration at finding her wand out of her hands. "Give me back my wand, you ferret!"
Draco had not even noticed he had her wand in his hand. Subconsciously, he had reacted better than he thought. "No." Draco responded simply while putting them into his posterior trouser pockets.
Now what? Draco thought. He had her pinned and under his control, but he really couldn't move or do anything. If he shifted his legs, she'd kick his groin. If he let go of her hands she punch him, or reach for her wand. His wand! Quickly, Draco made up his mind and decided to move her hands so they connected over her head. His long fingers enabling him to hold both her wrists together. He put his free hand into his robe pocket, trying frantically to find his wand. Hermione saw this as an opportunity and tried wriggling out of his grasp, causing him to resume holding her with both hands. Merlin, she's strong. What does she eat for breakfast? Entire cows? wondered Draco as he pushed himself harder against her.
