Sorry I couldn't post yesterday everyone I was really sick, but I feel so much better now.
Anyway today was a really good day inside and outside of school.
So basically I have to wake up at around 6:45 and sometimes earlier to have a shower. The reason I have to get up so early is to leave home at 7:30 and catch a bus at 7:45. I get to school at around 8:30. 15 minutes before the first bell rings.
It's not so bad. The first couple of weeks of high school I was tired all the time. I'm still tired all the time but at least I'm used to the routine.
So anyway, I got up this morning, had a shower, got dressed, had breakfast.
I left home, walked to the bus stop.
One of my friends is always at the bs (bus stop) first and very rarely late. His name is Jorah (Jor-rah) and he's kinda like an annoying but also cool brother.
Anyway so I wait at the bs every morning with Jorah and this other guy Cian (year older, goes to a different school). We're always the first ones to arrive at the bs.
Lately my favourite songs have been Centuries by Fall Out Boy, Lovers On The Sun by David Guetta, Pompeii by Bastille and Can't Hold Us by Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.
So I listened to this first on the bus and then I went on iTube to listen to piano covers by kokoko6891, ugh she is so amazing, she does anime openings and a lot of songs by UtaPri. I've also started listening to amalee, and she sings anime openings in english it's so amazing.
It's Wednesday, so at my school, WHS, it means breakfast club.
Breakfast club is free breakfast ever Wednesday and basically I just get fatter than I already am lol.
Usually they have toasties, mini pancakes, milo, fruit and much more but today they had this new drink. It was like an orange juice slushie. (I got a brain freeze within 10 seconds of drinking).
After brekky club my first class is science.
(Hey! Guess what America?! My science teacher is American!).
So I get into science and for the last lesson we've been looking at the anatomy of the ear and how we hear sound. Really interesting, watched a few videos. Almost at the end of the lesson our teacher told us that we had an upcoming assignment.
It's basically just info about the ear and stuff. And we have to do this research thing called 'Is your iPod making you deaf' hahahaha yes it is.
So yeah assignment no. 1 of term 4.
Then we had mentor with Mr. Webber and then recess.
At recess I hung around with my best friend Brianna, (I looove saying best friend. best friend best friend best friend) and we just walked around (what we normally do around recess) and talked about stuff.
Next on our timetable was sport. Our sports teacher was away so we had a sub and played sport with another year 8 class.
3rd period was english and I looove english.
For homework last night we had to print out the lyrics for our fav song and I chose Centuries.
So in english we had our song lyrics out and we had to circle the similies, metaphors, personifications, rhymes etc. it was so much fun.
At lunch time I went to the library.
I started reading this random book called Tokyo: All Alone in the Big City. It was about this guys sister who'd gone missing in Tokyo and he had to go find her because his parents and the police weren't doing anything.
Strange but a little intriguing.
The bell went and we had history with our teacher Mascas.
We went to the library and wow we have another assignment. I guess I shouldn't mention that we have a music assignment that we have to work on tomorrow as well.
Anyway so lately we've been doing Medieval England. Mascas has made an assignment where the students are the teachers.
Basically what we have to do was choose something out of 5 categories like witchcraft, warfare, castles etc.
I chose Medicine, and I'm in a group with Jorah and Jackson. So now what we have to do is make a thirty minute lesson where we teach the class about medieval medicine. Fun!!
The bell rang and that was pretty much it for the day.
On the bus Jorah and I watched Persona 4 which was pretty cool.
When I got home I was starving, so I made a sandwich and watched Teen Wolf. I'm only on the first season. I'm really loving it so far.
After dinner I tried to convince mum to buy at least the first two seasons. The answer was no but I still think there might be hope.
Anyway I hope you liked the chapter and hopefully it wasn't too boring.
