In Heaven both Ash's and Devan's task was mainly to answer prayers for God or simply to wonder freely on Earth. Unlike the usual angel they were kind and patient with the humans listening to their pleas and even stayed to keep them company. After their latest mission a rumor spread that God would pass the angels up a rank cause the angels to make a hasty decision that brought the two to simply fall. Not knowing that they'd no longer be the good angels they once were. A certain fallen angel was more than happy to guide them under their wings and after some experience in Hell they were given the clear to go on Earth where they accomplish tasks their mentor bestows upon them. Their personality completely flipping from their once kind demeanor to a dangerously manipulative sarcastic brute. They'd became the Devil's newest prodigy rival only to the antichrist. More powerful than any Supreme they disguise their selves quite often as demons.
