have you ever met that perfect person? Someone you never want to lose. Someone that means so much to you that you would do almost anything to be with them. Well, they say things like this never happen but who knows who's going to walk into your life.

This is it. I'm moving. Saying goodbye to everything that i love. My home. My friends. My school. My childhood. I watched my dad toss our suitcases into the back of the car. This isn't right. "Okay, you ready to go Y/N?" My dad asked. I nodded. My dad just stared at me knowing that i wasn't okay. He sighed as he walked up to me. "It's going to be okay Y/N, everything will be fine, who knows you might enjoy it!" He said smiling trying to cheer me up. I smiled as tears started streaming down my face like waterfalls. My dad pulled me in for a tight hug. I felt safe when I was in his arms. "I can't leave mom" i cried. My mom died in a car accident when i was little. Being in New York made me feel like I was with her. We did everything together. "I know Y/N, but we have to stay strong, your mom would hate seeing you like this. She wants you to be happy" My dad implied.
"Okay, i can do this" I said wiping my tears away.
"That's my girl" My dad said laughing.

The car ride was long, sweaty and boring. I just wanted to be at home with my mom and dad watching our favourite movies. Everything seemed different. But, there was no turning back. I was walking into a new chapter in my life and i had no idea how it would be. I shivered at the thought. Would I have friends? A nice home? A nice life? Those questions span around my head for the whole journey. "We're here!" My dad shouted looking at me in the car mirror. I smiled and got out of the car grabbing my things. This was my new life. I had a nice home and this seemed like a friendly neighbourhood. That's a good start. I ran to my room to see what it was like. It was okay. A bit like my room back in New York. I set out my stuff and eventually it was time for dinner. "After dinner you can go outside and meet some new people if you would like. I have to start unpacking. The moving van should be here soon with everything we need" he  explained.
"Okay dad" I smiled and grabbed my shoes. I quickly opened the door and ran outside. I loved the feeling of the fresh air hitting my warm face. I walked around checking the neighbourhood out. It was such a beautiful place. My mom would be happy. That made me feel happy. All of a sudden, I heard a voice coming from the trees. It was a boy. But who was it? I'm going to go look.
