Hight fever(1)

I was shivering in my bed violently. I could feel the painful cold, even though my body was burning up. The ceiling lights made my eyelids heavy and I wanted to close them so bad...
My mom sat on the corner of the bed, but my eyes couldn't focus on her. She was holding the thermometer in her shaking hand and holding her tears. She quietly spoke :
- In sorry, I can't take your pain away... - she cried, as the words she spoke that night was the last thing I heard.

Next day silence woke me. Somehow I managed to open my eyes. I looked at the alarm. It was past 10 am, but I didn't hear the alarm. Maybe I was sleeping deeply.

Slowly I sat on the bed. After hew minutes I stood next to the window and I saw a few cars on the road. I couldn't hear the noises that they make - I heard vibrations instead. I was terrified and my mind was blank. I ran down the old stairs, as the silence was killing me.

My mom was making breakfast. She looked at me with a smile as a weird sound came from her mouth. Her, lips were moving, but I couldn't hear her sweet voice.
I grabbed her hand and with my terrified eyes, I looked at her.
- I can't hear you, - I said with tears in my eyes, as I couldn't hear my own voice.

My mom hugged mine tightly. She took a blank piece of paper and wrote :

" We will fix this"

Later that day we visited the doctor. After a lot of experiments  the doctor gave me a piece of paper :

For those with severe hearing loss, the quietest sounds that can be heard is between 70-95 dBA. 95 dBA is about the same level as garbage disposal at three feet away. People with severe hearing loss will have difficulty understanding conversations with one person in a quiet room. Most people with severe hearing loss rely heavily on lip reading to understand. Severe hearing loss can be treated with some hearing aid models equipped with technologies to support this degree of hearing loss.

I was 17 years old then. I had so many dreams. I wanted to be a singer, a dancer and I wanted to create my own music. It was an end. But my end was only my beginning...
