Chapter Eight

~Izuku~
Kacchan and Todoroki really aren't acting like themselves lately, and it's bothering me! I want to make sure they're okay... but Todoroki told me not to worry, which just makes me worry even more. And what do I mean by 'not acting like themselves'? I mean that they have been super overprotective, they now have guards surrounding the house, and they won't let me leave the house without one of them. It's like they think I'm going to get murdered or something...

"Izuku! We have to go on a, um... run. Be back soon!" Todoroki yelled. I got up from my comfy spot on the couch and walked them to the door.
"You're going on a run... You guys are wearing button ups and jeans. Do you normally bring your guns on a run?" I asked, pulling a small gun out of Kacchan's back pocket.
"Just uh... don't worry about it... Love you!" Kacchan kissed my forehead and they were out the door in seconds. I sighed and started walking back to my spot on the couch when the door opened again. Todoroki's head popped in.
"By the way, Kirishima is coming by to hang with you!" And he was gone again before I could respond.

I wasn't necessarily mad that Kirishima was coming over, it's just that I didn't know him that well. We've met a few times before, and the last time we met he was getting drunk with Kacchan. I went back to watching my All Might movies (because he is the best!) and stuffing popcorn in my face. I jumped when the doorbell rang suddenly. I walked to the door quietly, checking to see who it was. Through the peephole I saw spiky red hair and bright red eyes. That's definitely Kirishima... I thought. I unlocked the door and let him in.
"Hey there, Izuku! How are ya?" He asked, immediately running to the kitchen.
"I'm, uh... fine?" I watched as the fridge flung open and he grabbed a bowel of my guacamole, closing the fridge then going to the cabinet. Well he sure made himself at home...
"That's good, bro!" He took the chips he got from the cabinet and plopped down on the couch. "So whatcha wanna do today?"
"I wasn't planning on doing anything," I said, joining him on the couch. "I mean I just found out you were coming over here."
"It's all cool, Bro!" He said happily. "We could just chill and watch movies?" I smiled and happily nodded.
"Sounds good!! Let's see what's on Netflix!"

~Kirishima's POV~
Izuku and I had been watching movies for about three hours straight. Bakugou told me they would only be gone for a few hours, so I'm hoping they'll be back soon. The little greenette was slowly falling asleep, and I really didn't want to wake him up. BANG! (Can we appreciate my sound effects😅) Izuku shot up in his seat looking around. Well that did the job for me.
"What the hell was that!?" He shouted.
"I have no idea... stay here." I put my serious face on and pulled my gun out of my back pocket. When you work for the strongest mafia, you always carry a weapon. "Who's there!" I cautiously stepped into the kitchen and saw a blonde girl with space buns. She had a knife in her hand, and had other knives all of the counter.
"Hi! I'm Toga!" She said cheerfully.
"Yeah okay." I knocked her out with the back of my gun, causing her to drop on the floor, the knife falling out of her hands.

~Todoroki's POV~
Katsuki and I were on our way home when I got a call from Kirishima. I put him on speaker phone.
"Hello?"
"You invite a blonde girl over?"
"No, I didn't. Why?"
"Well... 'Toga' paid a visit. She seemed to be spying on us. I knocked her out and she's tied up in the basement."
"Is Kitten- Izuku. Is Izuku okay?!" Katsuki asked.
"He's fine. He sacked out on the couch. He's sleeping in the basement living room so I can keep an eye on him." The blond boom boom boy growled. I hung up without saying anything else and pressed harder on the gas pedal, trying to get to Izuku as quickly as possible.
