Hey there!
This is the first novel that I've actually decided to publish. I've been writing this for quite a while and decided that today is the day that I actually share my work.
Palace Reigns is an adventure/fantasy/romance book about a Middle Eastern girl from a fictional country called Almasahra. Due to the fact that the country is not real, I'd like to say that I've used influences from Egyptian, Lebanese, Khaleeji and Moroccan culture. In theory, yes, the location of Almasahra and Malikatar should make them quite 'khaleeji based' , however, we're just gonna use the whole mix. My MSA is as limited as someone who lives in a country where Arabic is not an official language. I'm fluent in reading, writing and some conversational words but not so much with the formal writing – so if my Arabic in the novel is wrong, please help me correct it. That would be much appreciated.
This is just a way to bring a little part of my culture to life. I didn't really get much of an opportunity to do so when I was younger and it's such a creative way to incorporate it into my writing. Also check out the soundtrack. That's what I listened to when writing. So I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!
